Hey! Nice video. I am using Vaultx for my expensive cards but experiencing significant spine bulging on the first and last pages. I am looking into different binders because of this. With the zipfolio binders, have you experienced spine bulging when the binder is full? Does it lay flat?
Hey Alex, thanks for the comment! The quality of the spine is fantastic, I haven't filled the binder even half full at this point but when closed in particular, it lays perfectly flat. When open and the cards are sleeved in a softer sleeve, the cards closer to the spine can have the ever so slightest rounding to them, but this seems to be completely remedied using a thicker sleeve such as a Dragon Shield Matte. I've heard of VaultX and see a bunch of bigger channels using them but I think this is mainly paid/promo stuff so I decided to go with Ultimate Guard. I haven't been able to fault it yet 🙌
@@CollectorReddo Hey reporting back. I got the Zipfolio. It is a very nice binder. It bulges a lot less than the VaultX when fully filled. It still has a minor spine bulge, so not perfect, but much better than VaultX.
@@alexmacher7430 Hey man thanks for replying! Yeah those have basically been my findings also. I've probably filled the Zipfolio with ~150x double sleeved cards and am experiencing very minor spline bulge, this appears to be only when the Zipfolio is open and not when closed however. P.S I've just dropped a brief new video on Dragon Shield Sleeves and my personal choice for the double-sleeving method, check it out if you want! Will drop the link in the comments ☺
