I don't talk about it much but I live with an incurable illness that's forced me to rely on my RU-vid channel as my only source of income to survive. That said PLEASE consider using my links in the description - it not only helps the channel but helps keep my life afloat. BIG THANK YOU to those that do.
It would be very interesting if you get arc, sub and a pair of era300 to setup a soundbar home theater to compare with traditional home theater speakers. I have successfully persuade a friend who has full traditional wired home theater speakers switch to Sonos after listen to my Sonos ultimate immersive set.
Hey Jacob, nice review, just straight to point!. Questioned: Do you feel like I'd be able to get away with just owning one for my small room? Paired with a Sonos arc.
For a small room, on its own absolutely. With a Sonos Arc as a rear speaker you'll probably need two. I have no idea how that would work if you only tried one speaker. Big props if you help the channel and use my link.
If a small room for watching tv, an arc absolutely no problem. The beauty of Sonos eco system is that you can always build up your ideal listening experience gradually. Happy with arc for a while, and then feel like more bass then get Sonos sub. After awhile feel like more immersive surrounds you can get a pair of Sonos era 300. Later on you want more bass here you go the second sub pairing capability. There is infinite possibilities sonos create for tech + audio, you will regret you get sonos -- regret that too late to the game
Stereo will always sounds better without doubt. And homepod2 is not comparable here, not even close in my opinion. Of course era300 is larger, more expensive, and no surprise better in any aspect. The only pros out of homepod2 is it can pair with appletv for convenience purpose.
