Hello Jacob, could you give me your opinion in my case? I just bought a asus proart pa247cv for roughly the same price as a UltraSharp u2424h, but found it extremely uncomfortable due too the image being too grainy. Do you think I would have this same issues with another's full hd monitors? I'm seriously considering returning the asus and getting a dell to try and see if its more compatible with the Mac even tough looking only at technical specs its almost the same...
If your buying this soundbar make sure that your Sony TV does not make a hissing sound from the tweeters, when using the TV as a center speaker. It is still is a common issue across the world with the J, K and L series. I bought an X90L TV from a company that had good customer service and returned both the TV and Soundbar. Some people unfairly notice after its too late to get a refund. Appareently many have had the motherboard changed but sometimes it doesnt work. Sony are terribl for sending out so many faulty unit and not being honest and recalling them because there are so many TVs out there with this fault.
Any scaling or normal visual gaps when using a MacbookPro. I just bought a M3 Pro, and need a 32-34 all around monitor (productivity > editing > Netflix = gaming) that can manage my new laptop. Thoughts?
Jacob, please tell me what kind of mic stand you use in your videos. I'm looking for a new mounted boom stand or regular boom stand for my home studio.
For me, its the fact that its a $1300 oled monitor and doesn't have DisplayHDR true black 400 certification. The color profiles is another red flag. Weird on such an expensive monitor
My ES 2 is performing extremely poorly compared to my expectations. No better, maybe not as well as my cheap Audiobox Go. I had the original quantum 2626 and it performed quite well. I am depressed now.
You need to update your pinned comment to add the new description of what they say about the burn in warranty coverage . Under the warranty page it now states “Burn-In cover in warranty Burn-in at normal usage covered within warranty.(But, not covered for Commercial, abuse or mis-use).”.
As someone who’s been using a secret labs chair for the past four years. I recently did a hotel stay that had a mesh chair at the desk set up in the room. After a few hours of gaming, I got up and felt great 100% I’m about to buy either the C6 or the C7 chair to replace my secret lab
Finally a monitor with accurate colors for video and photography printing. OLED can jump in the lake. Tried a bunch of monitors with hours and hours of tweaking before this one. Finally, what I see on the screen is exactly what comes out of the printer. Also... a lot of hype about PPI when people review this monitor. Compared to my 32" HD Samsung, this is much sharper and looks better. Yes, there are better resolutions available, of course, but they all have trade-offs, and there comes a point at which the quality is perfectly acceptable/enjoyable. This is in the zone for everything. Just beautiful to behold. Can you get higher PPI... yes. Do you really need it? No. ... I know so many gamers that game at HD for the speed, and this is because HD is good. Gaming at 4K in smaller screen size with Ultra settings is better, yes. Think about this monitor as right in the middle between HD and perfect 4K with high PPI. I think the review fell short by making it seem like people need that PPI increase at the expense of everything else. Not so. The benefits here really outweigh the tradeoffs that come with increased resolution from the OLED family, and the price is right. $799 at B&H now. In practice when one is not trying to find fault with the display, it looks beautiful. Way cheaper than I would expect for all the features.
I own this scooter as well and it has tons of power in dual motor ,I definitly WOULD NOT recommend it for beginners riders. Pegasus would be a better scooter if you are just starting out. However I do love my Eagle one 2.0. Cheers!
That's really shocking that the connector ports are not fastened in properly, and the power connector that goes into the monitor is not even fully in! I was in process of ordering this but then decided to cancel the order.
Hey Jacob, I think I asked a similar question on one of your other videos but then this video caught my eye! So now I am even more stuck! Dell AW3423DWF - £584.40/ $752.05 Dell U3425WE - £687.79 / $885.10 I would predominantly be using the monitor for work and media consumption like RU-vid, Netflix etc but unlikely for gaming as I have an OLED tv for my PS5. Some might say the "obvious" choice is the AW3423DWF as its an OLED, better features etc and less in price! But there is the "worry" of burn in. Any help and advice would be great!
Yes it’s true don’t blow your cash, I run a Behringer UMC204HD rock solid, quiet,Midas preamps 192khz, Midi, pads on inputs, 48v , mixable A/B headphone out. Thank me later!
I ended up returning this monitor. One reason was the resolution as I am used to 4K but the main reason was that I was just not that impressed with the image quality. I think that OLED monitors are rather overrated, to be honest, especially since they cost quite a bit more than IPS monitors. Maybe give it a few years years when the prices start to come down a bit, they might be worth it.
