In this video, I take you through my experience with the EBC SR21 brake pads on the track during my recent race with Gridlife at Road America. After struggling with other brake compounds like the Hawk DTC-30s, Hawk DTC-50s, and Wilwood BP40s, I was excited to see what the SR21 pads could do. EBC Brakes sent me these pads to try out, and I was eager to test their performance, wear, and overall feel on the track.
I'll cover the initial measurements, and the results after 80 minutes of green track time. I'll also compare these pads to others I've used in the past and share my thoughts on why the SR21 might just be the best brake pad for endrurance racing, sprint racing, and maybe a quick swap in for track days.
