I appreciate so much that you hype on knives that don't receive the same attention elsewhere. You have helped me find some of my favorites. I will be adding some of these to my wishlist.
Absolutely love hearing that, Adam!! 🙌🏼 There’s so many options out there and unfortunately, our income isn’t as unlimited, so knowing that I’m helping people find items that they enjoy is one of the main goals of this channel and always will be! 👊🏼
I don’t really like knives that don’t fidget, and since I can’t afford 3 or 4 or 5 hundred dollars for a fidget, I look to the budget knives. Thanks for putting this group together.
The CJRB malieah was the very first knife on Amazon that caught my eye. I had never heard of CJRB but I loved it. Now I know how quality it is I’m ordering it!
Maileah is great.Suggest you check out Boker urban trapper petite...arrived with lockstick but after break-in it is the smoothest, buttery flicker in my collection.
I have never handled the Exarch but I also have never felt the need since I own a McKenna. For an extra $10, I purchased the version with 154CM blade steel and brass scales and I couldn't be happier.
The off grid scorpion is awesome for just being a flipper as well ....not in this range but nonetheless....also,Ivan is phenomenal... responsible for some of the most amazing midtechs like the antigravity/key to the time machine....Arkona Buran!....so far and I'm sure forever will hold a spot in my top 5
Penguin is still less than $30 on BladeHQ, unless you were factoring in shipping. Also, the s35vn ones from KnivesPlus are back in stock, so those are ~$60. There's also a new scale color for the exclusives: jade g10.
I recently got the qsp penguin, cjrbria and the cjrb Maileah. And de Kizer Swayback from Swaggs! It's hard to choose a favorite one. So I play with all 4 of them together. I don't want to leave one of them out 😁😁
I can attest to the fidget quality of that Exarch. Once broken in, it flips like a dream and is flippable in every conceivable way. Waiting for my damascus Riffle now. I hope that one's as lovely as people generally seem to think it is.
I think I like the lines on the exarch the most of those two. Its probably bias though, because I just bought that version you showed with the Damascus blade, and g10 carbon fiber.
Waaaaayne! GREAT list!! I thought you were doing that video outta my house for a minute. 😜 Love my Hawks, waiting on my third in blue micarta. 2 knives I'd like to give honorable mention. Asher Spiro S35V for $75, great thumb stud fidget. My fav full size fidget knife, widely unsung in the EDC community, Artisan Cutlery Wren. It's heavy, overbuilt, superior ergos, super fidgety. Keep doin what your doin brother Stay safe, stay sharp 👍🇺🇸👍🔪
Excellent new budget fidget knives for me are my: Kizer Junges, and Harnds Time. The Time is the only knife I own that I can middle finger flip, and look like a pro doing it. Plus I can thumb flip it, and of course use the flipper tab. Great detent action. The Junges is just amazing all around. The Ruike P662-B is the same size and designed like the CJRB Ria, but cheaper. The Ruike is just as fidgety and has 14C28N blade steel. Great video!
Love the video man, keep it up! I also enjoy the Civivi Chronic as a fidget flipper. I have the Exarch, and it’s amazing too. McKenna will be coming up next
Outstanding list with a few I’ll have to check out Right now my personal favorite budget fidget is the Kizer Lieb micarta mostly because how nice the liner lock feels Easy and no rough edge
The civivi keen nadder is such a great fidget knife and just knife in general. Bohler n690 steel, micarda scales, flipper tab, thumb stud and spidy flick. Drops shut out of the box and it's only $74
Hmmm. The Akuma is getting a lot of attention. I wouldn't have thought, but I guess ill check it out. On the Penguin, I dunno where you're shopping, but it is still very much available at 29 bucks
Good list and I concur on the Mini Sheepdog, Ria, McKenna and Penguin. You've now got me wanting the Rokot and the Maileah. One of my favorite fidget knives is the TwoSun TS 129 which CAN be had for under $100 if you're willing to play the eBay game and have patience. It's a front flipper with a teardrop shaped opening hole for EASY middle finger flicks or thumb flicks. On another note, email sent on the LVM.
Some excellent choices. The rokot is awesome one of my favorites. I have the ff mini archbishop which is small but very figitable. Similar in design to the odium. I hope to get a riffle soon. Great video 👍
You should redo this video for 2024 and only include options that have 3 or more forms of deployment and a cross bar lock/button lock/ or similar. Don’t limit to budget knives. Best fidget knives under $250 :)
Hey Wayne, I have the Real Steel Rokot. It's a fidget monster. Just the access to the Liner lock isn't the best. But other than that it's great. Thanks for the Video buddy.
My maileah just arrived today. Great knife for the size, but the detent on mine's way too stiff. I hope it wears in, but does anyone have any pointers on making detents a little less stiff?
You should just get a dremel, and remove a little material on the sheepdog, and it'll be all good. I did that with my buck vantage pro small (the s30v version) so I could middle finger flick it, totally worth it
You're smokin rope on the penguin price. Twenty-nine and change at the first two places I checked. Also , try light switching the flipper tab with your thumb. It's easier than it looks.
Great review Wayne!! The CJRB Ria looks so nice, but as a lefty I’m left wondering how I’d use it on a regular basis since there’s no left side thumb stud. Wonder how hard it is to reverse finger flip it from the left side? I know you’re right handed, but is there any chance you might be able to try that and let me know?
Some of these are sub $50! You can’t get much cheaper than that without drastically sacrificing tolerances and quality to such an extent that it loses that satisfying well made feel and smooth yet tight and precise action that’s essential for a good fidget experience.. ✌️
