After a long waiting I got a medium format back from Blanc Roll and boy... I couldn't be happier with my "new" Bronica SQ-ai.

That's the idea!!! I actually tried to show the multi flash but the camera didn't pick up the bursts.

I have bronica ec. Definately the best camera in the world. Also 6x6. Unfortunately mine is starting to show first signs of failing electronics. 1/30th and 2s exposures dont work and cause the shutter to jam open untill I change the speed. I will get another ec to replace this one when it dies.

I like the bronicas. I used to have a ETRS, it was the first medium format camera I had. I sold it when I got a Mamyia C220 because of the square format, but the camera was great. The SQ-ai is actually very similar to it but 6x6, which for me it's perfect!!

I own the original SQ version and it has been great. Although, I would like to try out the Bronica GS or Etrs

I used to have an Etrs and to be honest, there isn't much difference between this cameras other the cropping. The user experience of the SQ-ai and the Etrs is very much the same.
