Ive been using Articuno+Tentacruel/Frosmoth since i began because of how my opening went, and ive gotta say the biggest issue holding tentacruel back is the fact it dies to Pikachu EX in 1 hit.
Think I'm going with Mewtwo as my first pack & with deck building. I'm trying not to take anything too serious though & keep it fun. Thanks for all the information!
I rerolled 1 time. On my second try I didn't get something good until I wonderpicked and got Gyarados full art and then Articuno ex and from normal pack I got pikachu ex immersive card and snorlax, nidoqueen, squirtel , bulbasaur full arts and marowak ex (2 marowak and bulbasaur if you count guaranteed draw at beginning). I plan do make gyarados deck. And keep this account. Edit: I got Venusaur ex from wonderpick. And I starded on 30 october. I only get Venusaur ex (I have 4 of them 😢 ) not Mewtwo ex or Gardevoir.
Ive been pulling from just Mewtwo until i can get a 2nd Marowak EX. The Cubone line has always been my favorite, so even if its RNG, i knew i wanted to run a Marowak deck lol. Once i get it, ill probably swap to Charizard packs for a bit
The problem is if you want a competitive Water deck, you need to open two types of packs, or all three. The only viable one-pack Water deck is Starmie ex + Greninja. I've opened well over 100 packs, split across all three, and I still don't have all of the pieces for any competitive Water deck, not even Starmie ex + Greninja. Water is definitely the most P2W archetype.
@@TheMaplestSyrup rerolling means that you can open around 30 packs in one go. That could be enough to guarantee two or three different rare cards that you want (or four or five if you're really lucky), but it certainly won't guarantee two copies of each desired card. The odds of a specific EX Pokémon are like 1/40 or 1/50. I've seen people say that they rerolled dozens of times across multiple days just to get that small handful of specific cards. To me that sounds like spending too much time for too little reward. Then once you stop rerolling, there's no guarantee when you'll get the other cards that you need to finish a deck. So let's say that on one reroll you end up with one Mewtwo EX and one Gardevoir. It may be another 50 to 100 more packs before you pull a second copy of either Pokémon or both. And you really need two copies of both or else the deck won't be competitive. Charizard EX needs Moltres EX, and that's even harder to to pull because EX Pokémon are rarer than non-EX Stage 2 Pokémon. Both Mewtwo and Charizard are one-pack decks. For a two-pack deck like any competitive Water deck, you are half as likely to get what you need through rerolling. Sure you could get cards through Wonder Pick, but you could be waiting days just to get a chance at a card that you need, and you could pick the wrong slot, meaning you'll have to wait potentially more days for another chance. So even if you rerolled your account until you got a Starmie EX, it could be multiple weeks before you get a second copy through a booster pack opening or through Wonder Pick. Meanwhile, you still need to get your hands on two copies of Misty and two copies of whatever other Pokémon you want the deck to have, be it Greninja, Articuno EX, or Blastoise EX.
Sounds worse than yugioh duel links... U get any deck u want if u are new in 5 days .. You Will get power creep in 40 days or less ifu start past the first 2 weeks of the month.. Still this sounds like a money pit
I just completed all my beginner challenges and from opening the packs I got the charizard ex and the full art mew two ex that did an animation. Did I get really lucky or is this average for the begging phase?
Charizard and Fire type in general is my favorite Pokemon and type but I might start with Mewtwo packs first. Seems like it's harder to make a Charizard deck vs a Mewtwo deck.
