🔹 In this video I show y’all what I believe to be the best Cera build. It is quite a repetitive playstyle that rewards good movement and ability timing. Of course I don’t know everything so feel free to tell me if I made any mistakes in the comments, pls subscribe ❤️
🔸What’s the game?
- The game is Path of Titans, It is an MMO dinosaur video game currently in active development for home computers and mobile devices fully compatible with cross platform play. Play as one of 18 core dinosaurs in a rich ecosystem filled with complex AI creatures and up to 200 other players. Explore an environment filled with natural events, quests, guilds, adventures, and free-form play, all while enjoying a rich life, avoiding death, and augmenting your dinosaur to suit your play style.

Even though got kinda shafted with the loss of leap, it still probably the best 2 slot carni rn. Thrash and kick are great and armor tail is hilariously good on it since you will probably dealing more damage to them since they take reflective damage from biting your tail. Also with the all for one sense they things in packs shred any mid tier and sub apex groups.

Pretty close to the set up I've been using with cerato! Only difference being I use balance tail over armored. Can't wait to see the next vid!

Thank you so much I've been wanting this for awhile. I wasn't sure if it was better sticking to the old bite and charged overall or not. Also that double kick was SICK! Cera got that dawg in him! Is it possible to do a video on the therizinosaurus or deinocheirus? I've heard they're good but after the update changes I'm unsure how to set them up.

Thank you this helped me get a better idea on fighting and using the precise movement during fights with similar size dinos. I lost my 1st adult fight to a Sucho but ik I should have gotten behind it more. Let it land to many claw attacks.

I've been playing a lot of Dimetrodon recently, and it's still strong. I most often fought 1v2, and I still managed to win(megs are extra squishy) I recommend having: Normal and Lacerating Bite, still the best. Solar Power when solo, Firm Grip(?) for front limbs, Desert Thirst(lowers bleed taken) Dried Sail for fighting and Cauterising Sun for healing, Back limb is dependant on envirement, if there's water close by(like, really close) then Dive, otherwise LDR, Damage boosting call, bleed and venom heal call is pointless to say the least. Also, I'm playing Borealis subspecies only because it looks the coolest and does slightly more damage, but you can have any.

Shove is actually really good, you can use it to reposition during fights so people rarley ass ride you and the knock back is fine but i mainly use it to reposition

It's true people go against apexes and they back against a cliff against a Cera and this is personal experience in crimson semi realism

I play cerato alot and i have most of the same things that you do except i have normal bite and charge, i don't really like thrash bite because i'm normally fighting things my size and i need all the health i can get because of lag. I also run the turn radius alot because it's stupidly affective but i've been loving armour tail recently. :)

I miss the bonebreak too but with all the abilities it has now it doesnt really need it. If they did add it back I would just replace the charged bite with it.

Seeing as it’s getting a grab and 2 abilities to use in you while your grabbed and ambusher, and lone hunter i think it can deal with a low turn radius

I think a good solo dasp can definitely kill a cerato using this build or similar if it either facetanks with no tail hits or gets a bone break, I fought a cerato using this build except all defense and they practically facetanked me, I ended up dying and they MIGHTVE been EARLY deathscars, shows how strong thrash on cerato is right now

In Shove's defense, it can be useful if you see people on rocks being super cocky. You can knock them off to take a ton of damage. It's just a different playstyle that turns Cerato into a mini Pycno, more suited to ambushing players who aren't aware of or trying to fight you.

@@nvGunn Yeah for your playstyle of honorable fights I can see why you don't favor it. It's meant for people who want to get the jump on someone and knock them off a rock. From that perspective, Shove can be a game changing ability for the Cera, especially since it's so new that many people don't know Cera can knockback yet.

I play cera alot and I wouldn't say it's op or boring it all depends on the players cera is probably the second most Dino I play first being sarco and I'm still pretty bad at cera I'm just not good at douging baiting or tail rigging but I still managed to get some good pvp like I fought a pack of 7 raptors killing two and making the other 5 run for there life and I wasn't stupid to wait for them to come back because of how fast they heal so I ran when were gone but I'll still take the win

NvGunn I did your build, AMAZING BTW, but I changed one thing, the sub species. I made it the one with more armor and sometimes I look at my health and I’m like “If I didn’t have this species, I would have died” I’m not saying your is bad, It’s amazing, this was just an opinion. Edit: Don’t worry, I saw this vid as soon as it came out, it’s just I was too lazy to write this and was tired 😭💀

I have to disagree about favoring kick over shove, cause shove lets you knock raptors off if they jump on your face, and I have knocked someone off a cliff before (an Albert on officials). Also personally I prefer a full armor build when it comes to hide & subspecies. Great vid though.

I prefer armor sub-species and tough scutes. I don’t like berserker because I play on official and if you get low on HP you’re just asking to be third partied by an Alio, struthio or anything fast. Speed hide could help but you’re still too slow to get away.

My cera is currently running everything except the sense (I'm not quite halfway through adolescent) and I almost ALMOST killed an adult alioramus, as a console player who is only on his second playable, that made me feel really good and confident even though I lost and these build tutorials, and the fact that you show HOW to fight is incredibly helpful!

I missed the bonebreak alot too, but its actually pretty fun still, I soloed a stego using mostly charged bites so theyre suprisingly strong at least in hit and runs lol (I have a video on it if you dont believe me, its about 4 months old I think though, probably more)

I still don’t like seeing a literal Apex predator, getting his ass whooped by a small scavenger, like a raptor, somehow could defeat a whole large behemoth, that being an argent and somehow winning, which is just so unrealistic, and just so stupid I know it’s a game, but at least have some realistic elements like small animals not be able to take down apexes, or the options of some of these animals

That is why sane people play this game on servers with rules. In Mesozoic Realism Ceras cannot hunt t-rex nor anything the same size or larger than t-rex. On officials and fun servers you can basically kill an elephant with a puddle.
