I completely hate the new change, I enjoyed playing the old system with BR3. I might be in the minority, but this just feels like another step towards sweatier games.
@@nightowl9519 I agree the new system isn't the best. I think they should've done tech tress for individual campaigns. Although my distain for the change I admit one good thing is you can play as the British in Normandy besides the Churchill and a few other squads they had before the merge
I hope it works and is implemented. I’m just worried Enlisted will not have the playerbase numbers for this to work majority of the time. They really messed up with steam release
forget (again)..... Tank camp, plane spam...... Thats it. And now arty spam.... Skill based game..... This match making formula ok.... And what about booster "abuse"? Every time I have a booster, I got hopelessly unwinnable battles. Dark Flow is unethical, trash company.
This is a good change but I don't understand why they can't just make it so that BR 1 plays BR 1-2, BR 2 plays BR 1-2-3, BR 3 plays BR 2-3-4, BR 4 plays BR 3-4-5, and BR 5 plays BR 4-5. Just do that full time instead of this hard/soft system or the original two bracket system. BR 1 should never face anyone above BR 2 and BR 5 should never face anyone below BR 4. The scale difference between BR 1 to BR 3 and between BR 3 to BR 5 is absolutely preposterous.
That's almost a BR+-2 system with some limits to the ends caused by BR compression. So, why don't just impliment BR6 and have a full BR+-2 matchmaking system? It would be more balanced with AR's, KingTigers's and the OP stuff thrown at BR6 while also saving BR2 from stuff like the Panther in the possible BR2-3-4 match a BR+-2 system can bring.
I'm mix about this. I think they doesn't understand the complaints about the BR system, instead just try to throw a lot of stuff to the wall and see what sticks. For example the issue with BR3 getting into BR2, now it's way more common than before because it's -1/+1 system. Also, I've been seeing more real players today than in the whole year, even when big events gave big rewards. The will to change is well received
Now we'll just have to see if there are enough players to support more queues. If they hadn't completely duffed the Steam release in the worst way possible we'd be in a far better spot for this.
I’ve made it to Tier 4 in my US/UK and German research trees so maybe it’s time I move those two up to BR3. I’ve been getting in several BR3 matches lately anyways while playing at BR2 so I was feeling like I needed to try moving up anyways but it will be nice to be able to equip some Garands and BARs and not have to face a Tiger bc of it.
PERFECT!!! That's a HYGE step in the right direction for the game! Now let's have a look at the surprisingly hidden elephant in the room, BR5's power creep. Seriously, where is BR6??? Half of the BR5 gear are obsolete just because the other half of BR5 gear is just OP! (to the point that BR3's uptiers felt like they were BR+3 uptiers most of the time!) Also, BR6 would open the way for a BR+-2 matchmaking system without big balance problems, and while retaining most of the variety and the underdog/king feeling of some matches. 0:33 It's a simplification of WarThunder's BR system (WarThunder has a BR+-3 system, and we got a BR+-1 here) 2:46 The issue with BR3 was that it didn't have a middie ground, it was either in a full uptier vs "BR6", or in a full downtier, with no middieground (BR2-3-4 matches)
I don't care about matchmaking much. I can kill anybody with BRI infantry too and unless enemy spams IS-2 or TigerII it is OK, and even those tanks can be destroyed by some Yak-1 or BF109E What I can see now are teams 10 vs 10, but with 5-6 BOTS on both sides. That makes no sense. And I still miss the option to at least select preferred maps or campaings. For example I would like to play more Tunis maps and less Pacific maps. But since I have western allies selected, game drops me everywhere, mostly in Pacific which is disgusting.
Hopefully this will prevent new BR 3 players going to top tier. They are most likely still using old BR 1-2 gear and they only have couple of BR 3 weaponds. It’s not really encouraging me to win when I see reserve rifles being used at top tier😂.
New matchmaking rules are nice, but at least for me this is an indication of something much more important. If Darkflow seriously thinks that expanding the brackets is possible, that means Enlisted should have a healthy playerbase right now. I myself have not played Enlisted for some months now, but seeing that it's doing well motivates me to give it another go :)
Finally we have been asking it for months. It should be like that from the start of the Merge patch idk why DF is so stubborn.We play the game every day so it's obvious we know how to improve their game. I still wish BR5 would get separated from BR4 since their guns and some vehicles are superior to the BR4 but you can't have everything. BR1 and BR5 not fighting BR3 is a huge change. Next Steam fix the silver gain and relist Enlisted on Steam.
Fuck dude, I just want to play BR 3 without fighting BR5. I play Xbox with crossplay off because PC players tend to be sweatier and have a lot more premium items. I don’t think we’ll have the population for soft rule without crossplay but I pray there is.
This post is one week into the new "soft rule" on the Battle Rating Matchmaking. Perhaps there is bias since I am a veteran player, but the problem is the battle rating itself. This feature is new to the game still, and I can remember a time when matchmaking AND gear was based on historical battles (Battle of Moscow, Berlin, etc.). Even now, I still notice that there are either people or bots who are using entry level bolt action rifles and various other "low tier" gear. This should not happen. I am Battle Rating 5 in all armies, with all gear unlocked. When I start and enter a match, I am facing off with people that have everything unlocked also for their opposing army. At a certain point, "skill issue" is not a factor when they can respond with sending 300 rounds downrange while you are firing off a single shot rifle. There is a grave imbalance here that began when they threw historical accuracy out. In the old Enlisted you could select to play The Battle of Moscow, which IIRC takes place in 1939, which means there is no way the svt-40 would even exist on that field (svt-40 was invented in 1940, hence the name, and if not that rifle, other ones are guilty of this, too). Contrarily, you could select to play The Battle of Berlin in which the Soviet Army participated in both battles, whereas Berlin happens late in the war, it's the last battle if I'm not mistake, or at least, last major battle. This means the Soviet Automatic Federov was indeed at least invented. And realistically, the Mosin Nougant was still standard issue for the Soviets in Berlin. My whole point being, they ended up sacrificing historical accuracy for a matchmaking system that is broken from the start. There was no even sides in the war, no matchmaking or anything like that. The Soviets accomplished what they did not because they were carrying rayguns, but because they had 60 million men to throw at the enemy, it wasn't fair. I'm not a game developer or anything of that talent, but the fix starts with realizing that either of these two systems are broken, and things have to be sacrificed if you truly want balance. Stop giving me teammates and bots that cannot lay down the necessary firepower to respond to the other team. It wasn't really like that in WW2, they didn't really only have three zones to capture and the whole battle is over. Either put "late" models all together strictly, and early weapons together strictly, or let me send 10 million men with bolt actions at the enemy, because a mere 1000 does not cut it when they can steadily rain down death from above and lay thousands of rounds to suppress per minute.
It sure won't be what we expect (again). The current problem is that it makes straight up unbalanced battles. The 1 / -1 it doesn't solve anything. It could also be done now, if there are only 2 players on one side and 5 on the other, then game start the battle with 2 vs 2 players. But that's not it.If you have boosters, you will lose battles directly.
I havent played this game since the Tiered BR update came out...or a few weeks after..They Broke the economy for many people who had to rebuild their squads w/o properply being informed how it would affect their play experience w/ how broken the BR matchmaking was. This update helps but the reality is..there are campaigns and maps I dont enjot playing at all...Too many Sniper, tank and choke points issues on many of the maps. I would like for them to give me the option to filter out certain maps w/ that said also show us a filtered out set of toons w/ their options for tiered play on those maps. And w/ the filter system you can add a more options incase some of those isntances are not populated to start a round.
Remeber what we were supposed to have 3 queues and they slapped us with two. Making BR 3 unplayable and BR 1 a stomp fest. So only 2 and 4 are playable and 5 is a different game😢
I wish there were more events with unique german weapons as well , it seems like only russian , american and the japanese weapon designers celebrate anniversaries /birthdays , according to Enlisted devs.
Too late for me, already uninstalled the game after years on it. Devs aren't taking players seriously enough We are only there to bring money (steam release AHUM...) Shifted to hell let loose, i don't regret my decision at all
I think matchmaking might be a bit messed up after the update. I just got Invasion (defense) 8x in a row for both German and US. Cant seem to get anything but that.

Been saying it since the beginning of the merge the jump from to br 3 throws new players into a whirlwind of fuckery I have seen an improvement in the matchmaking
When the merge came I was expecting more balance at the sacrifice of historical accuracy but that’s not really the case at the moment so I hope this matchmaking update makes it funner for new players stuck on bolt rifles
I had deleted the game before when i was playing br1 because i would always get killed by br3. but now i am installing it in hopes that now it will be more better on average 😃
I think something that's been missed with the addition of the PZ IV G is that now it blocks you from continuing down the tank tree if you had already made your way to let's say the panther you now have to go back and complete the PZ IV G to move on I've already had everything unlocked but I'd be pretty pissed if I was someone who had already done so much work to move on
I think now the BR 3 players are very OP now becoause there is a HUGE jump betwen BR 2 and 3 and there isn't much between BR 3 and 4 (I'm happy also becouse the folder tiger now makes sence)
@@carterjones8126 In tanks if you are in a BR 2 and the enemy tank is a BR 3 you are almost paper to him and you can't realy pen them atleast with germany
I don't agree. BR2 to BR3 is not a 'HUGE' jump, and is about the same BR3 to BR4. If I need to take out an enemy tank, I grab a plane and not a tank. And there are even BR1 planes that can take out any BR3 tank.
I would like to see Berlin maps reworked. The maps are really not bad, but a lot of sectors are to hard to attack. I would like to see to so changes in the queu. See, I only play Invasion, destruction and Confrontation. SO, i just quit Assault, Conquest, and Armored Train Scort. Sometimes I pass more time quitting then playing lol
It sounds like a nice change, however theres no way to know how it effects you. Loading in with all BR 3 used to put you in 1-5, now it says 2-5. So it already isnt working the way tthey implied. Also, it doesnt tell you which BR game youve loaded into, so there will be no way to actually measure the changes.
This would be a great change! If it didn’t mean all console only matches are even more bot ridden, console enlisted doesn’t have the player base to support this.
Brilliant idea funny enough me and my mate were saying this since we started playing a few months ago were currently battle rating 3 with a few 4s and finding it really rough and wildly different games of stomping or getting stomped rarely get a nitty tight game anymore
I'm still hoping for a BR 6 made specifically for the weapons that were STRICTLY experimental and saw either no appearance in WW2, or very limited use in WW2
meh, now that I got used to being tier 2 D: Facing an army of KV1 being tier 2 won't be fun, at least nowadays they are mixed with KV1 and low tier tank in every match, but in the future, tier 2 vs tier 3 will be a pain with KV1 dominating the field. Suure you can pick up air and explode it if you are premium and have a TANK SLOT and an aircraft slot, otherwise, your tanks will need to avoid the frontline and eat from the border, and if there are 2 kv1, you are screwed ;D
nah, its not that bad, i mean tier 2 tanks cant really deal with kw1 but soldiers and planes absolutly can, but maybe its a ,,me'' thing, since kw1 was added people were calling it undestructable and i was a bit scared to hear that but i never had problems with it more than with most tanks, but on the other hand when i started playing kw1 enemy couldnt kill me unless stuka said hi so idk
@@Volpeusz If you are a main tanker who's way above the average in your tank dailies and your main tank any sort of Pz3 even if you are a vet and the KV1 is a newb, you are screwed, if the tank is outside of the soldiers range, you are screwed, if you play free account and don't have a plane you are screwed, if you are basically the one carrying your team and 2 kv1s block the roads from point to point 1shoting your troops you are screwed, you can try to outflank, but then, time is money. It's not that simple and as easy as you make it sound like. In the right hands, in open maps, THEY DOMINATE.
@@canttouchthis6018 well if you are only one carrying your team then any tank with a bit of armour can fuck you up and thats annoying, but if your team is at least somewhat smart you can get those kw's killed in one way or another, sometimes its better to waste longer time killing those pesky tanks than let it be and loose 400 tickets for 1 point. and again, in right hants and open maps tanks always dominate, thats exactly what tanks like, open fields. I know kw is a tough cookie but i think having that big problems with them is just skill issue
@@Volpeusz Dunno man, facing them out of your nade range I think it's more like lack of premium issue to mount in a IAR82c and bomb them out of existence 🤣 My way of dealing with them is bringing engineer II with AT, still, not ideal, having to basically stop giving full support to my infantry because KV1 exists. If you are in a Tier3 facing germany Tier2 you know you can just bring KV1 and you will be comfortable erasing every lower tier tank from the battlefield. My win rate is also kinda high, still, the matches I meet good KV1 players in open field tend to be the hardest ones by far, as they force me to counterplay them specifically instead of playing for the victory.
