Top chase for me has to be Devin Strehle vs Sean Law. Masterful evading against a really good tagger.

I don't know much about this sport, but I like that the players exhibit a much higher level of sportsmanship compared to other sports, despite being highly competitive.

@@kunle9 they hugged after every round, and there is zero aggression or blatant unhappiness when they do so. At least the limited clips I watched. It is very easy to taunt opponents when you win the round, throw a tantrum when you lose, or simply not hug. Your statement is not true at all.

I think a lot of the best chases were left out of this top 8, like Omar Saki vs Sean Nieremberg and any of the Devin vs Soderman chases from the final. I know it's really hard to pick 8 chases but to me Devin vs Sean Law and Paul Fisher vs Raul Muniz weren't top 8 caliber.

still no helmets. Also still no pads - why! If you wear pads you can just run recklessly and do slides and have fun with it. The first person to rely on pads will show you how much quicker you can be ... It's like playing ball barefoot.

There was a video of one of the members (I don’t remember who) saying that wearing a helmet is actually more dangerous than without. Most people in wct do have pads, so that seems to be alright.
