if you’re scrolling through the comments to see if the recipe is good, i just made it and its the best one i’ve ever made. i hate crunchy cookies but it has the perfect amount of crunch around the outside. the inside is chewy but still somehow fluffy and light? it has the perfect distribution of chocolate chips. not too much to be overwhelming, but not too little to be bare. if you have the ingredients please, please make this
I've made dozens of cookie recipes and tried this one based off your reveiw, you're right. These are quite literally the best and easiest chocolate chip cookies I have ever made in my life.
Agreed! He’s my all time favorite because of the description. More people need to do this. Not only how good the food is, but the descriptions in the box and description in the video set him aside from all the others🥰
Just made another batch and here is the answer to some FAQs: INGREDIENTS IN GRAMS: 304 Grams all-purpose flour 2 Grams baking soda 2 Grams salt 170 Grams cup unsalted butter, melted 180 Grams packed brown sugar 106 Grams white sugar 10 Grams vanilla extract 1 whole egg 1 egg yolk 322 Grams cups semisweet chocolate chips 325 F for 15 - 17 Minutes depending on your oven. - Recipe makes 30 cookies if you use the 1oz (30 ml) scoop that I use. Link in the description. - 190 Calories per cookie (Damnnnnnnnnn) - I have never tried this recipe any other way than the way I shot this video. Im sorry but I dont know how the cookies will come out if you use different ingredients, measurements, or cooking style. - No you dont have to chill it before you bake them. - No I dont freeze the dough before I bake them. - No you dont have to wait for the butter to cool before you mix in the sugar and eggs. Just make sure its not SUPER hot to the point it cooks the eggs. - Yes you can use salted butter. Skip the salt if you do. Or dont. Whatever makes you happy. - Sometimes my dough comes out a little more wet than this video, too. I dont know why. Maybe the eggs. Maybe the weather. Maybe to butter was too hot. idk. Still good though. - Some people said they are too sweet and used less sugar. You do you. - I have never tried any other kind of flour. - I personally thaw my frozen ones out to room temp before baking them. - I have baked them frozen and they come out great. 325F 20-23 min. - M&Ms are okay. I wont be mad. - Do NOT use baking powder if you dont have baking soda. Yes it will mess it up. - Lasts 3 months in the freezer. - I dont know what temp or how long to cook them at in a toaster oven. - Use REAL butter not margarine. - Yes it makes a difference if you dont follow this exact recipe, use anything that is not listed, or choose not to follow the directions exactly. - I love you
Finally a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that doesn't tell me I need to refrigerate the balls of dough before I bake them. This is such a simple and easy recipe, mine turned out perfectly and my whole family loved them.
I have made SOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY recipes and lemme tell y’all… if you want an amazing/reliable/delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe….THISSSSS ISSS ITTTT!
@@aminehamza3301 those are definitely the two points I'd tweak on this recipe, but judging from the first results, I think they'll probably be on point after that's taken care of. I love that they don't go entirely flat and are actually crispy and chewy.
@@vy4596 I used light brown sugar but if you don't have any you can just use dark brown sugar and add half a cup of granulated sugar of course you will have to add the other half cup granulated sugar the recipe calls for
Cannot believe my cookies came out exactly like the video. I’ve tried many times to attempt different types of ways of baking cookies but this one will always be the number 1! Thank you!!! Cookies came out amazing
On my 2nd batch of cookies and its just not working. Following directions step by step. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. By the time I'm done mixing all the flour the dough is super thick, barely manageable. Chocolate chips don't even mix in well bc of how thick/dry the dough is! What am I doing wrong?????
For those of you watching this video my prayer is that you ALL come to know JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH as your LORD AND SAVIOR. ROMANS 10:9 say that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that GOD raised JESUS from the dead we will be saved.
I was almost giving up trying lots of chocolate chip cookie recipes. This one is the most simple and delicious of them all. The comments are right. THIS is the recipe.
My dad told me to bake chocolate chips cookies, but he want crispy outside and chewy inside, I had try so many cookies recipe before, but it's not chewy, then i try this recipe, THIS IS what he WANT, he ate it with smile on his face, he said it's really delicious,....it's crispy outside and chewy inside, he love it 😭, thank you for sharing this recipe ✨
By far one of the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve tried. It’s now my go to recipe. The whole family luvs it. I didn’t want it too sweet so I reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup brown and 1/2 cup white. Turn out just perfect.
This recipe is PERFECT! After 3 failed attempts at making cookies over the years, I almost lost hope. This recipe was so simple and easy to follow! Def recommend!
Same! But I put some of my cookies on the bottom part of the oven and a thin layer bot burnt but the top layer is perfect and the other tray is really yummy and perfect!
@@tsudakitadaki5740 pretty damn good. I made them again after. I did add about 4 TBSP of peanut butter and some honey to the mix though. Made some great cookies. I should add that the texture and taste arent like “cookies”. The name is slightly misleading. Theyre still very good though, they taste like and have the texture of a thick banana muffin with chocolate chips.

I’m here during quarantine and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. The cookies turned out very chewy and they smell awesome. My first time trying to bake and I’m surprised myself that I succeeded . Thank you ❤️
Okay, I’m serious when I say this, I never comment on recipe videos but this was delicious!!! This is my second time making these and I tweaked a few things, but I’m certain this is THE recipe I’m gonna use from now on. This is what I changed: - I used a chocolate bar and chopped it up (I think I used a brand called Baker’s) - I used some vanilla from Mexico (I’m not sure if this makes a difference) - browned butter - lastly, I didn’t have enough brown sugar, I only had 1/2 cup. So for the remaining 1/2, I did 1/2 cup of white sugar mixed with 1/2 tbsp of molasses You don’t have to make these changes, but I feel it really improved the flavor. Try this recipe ! It does not disappoint.
Thanks for putting ingredients in description box. This quarantine has me wanting to make chewy cookies to enjoy w my daughter and husband. Can't wait to make these today! :)
Guys, you would not believe the passion and heart I put into these cookies. They were splendtastic! So so so so so so so so GOEEEY. 10000/10 RECOMMEND :) Get your baking on y'all yeehaw🤠
I made these and it turned out absolutely delicious!!! I was able to make 20 cookies out of this recipe. I also made one adjustment like using softened butter at room temperature instead of melted (because I was afraid the melted butter would cause the cookies to spread) and they came out perfectly fine. The cookies also baked perfectly within 10-12 minutes so I wouldn’t go over that time frame. My only suggestion is to maybe cut down on the granulated sugar because it can be too sweet for some people’s liking. Other than that, these were the best cookies I have made so far and it had the texture I was looking for.
Like all cookie recipes I clicked on this video and was like “this is just gonna end up exactly like the others”. I tried the recipe out and boy was I wrong. AMAZING Recipe and I loved it.
This is by far the most amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe i have stumbled upon. 10 out of 10. It is crispy from the outside and chewy from the inside. Of all the recipes i have tried this is the best. Definitely recommend this!
hi.. Do you also brown the butter like what Tasty suggests? do you not recommend also what Tasty does to freeze before putting dough into the oven? thank you for posting this recipe :)
You for sure need to do more recipe videos. This is hands down the easiest and best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever made and I’ve tried A LOT. Much respect bro 💯
This is one of the most realistic looking cooking tutorials I’ve watched. You’re the first person I see using common household brands for ingredients and you’re explaining everything so well. Thank you so much. I’m prepping now to make these, I hope they turn out good! Every cookie recipe I seem to flop so I’m hopping these will become my new go to cookie recipe! Thank you so much for posting, you have a new subscriber!
FINALLY!! My cookies are chewy and delicious. Been making choco chip cookies for 30+ years the WRONG way. Always creamed the butter and sugar and wound up with a cakey or too a dry cookie. Who knew melting the butter first was such a simple solution. Thank you.
First time ever i got this kind of cookies right, with the little cracks and crispy outside, and soft on the inside.. the best! Thank you so much for sharing your secret!
I made these with my son yesterday, so good!! We decided to do a little test-the first batch we made with room temperature dough and they were good but a bit flat and crunchier along the edges. So I chilled the rest of the dough for about 2 hours then set it out for about 10 minutes so softened but still chilled. Those cookies…perfect. I store them in tupperware with a slice of bread (like my Mom used to to keep ‘em soft). Thank you so much for this easy recipe!!
BESTTT RECIPE EVERRR DONT HESITATE TO MAKE THESE😩😩😩😩😩every other choc chip cookie recipe I make turn out bad they never flatten but this one it’s crispy on the outside chewy on the inside ima make thisss whenever I need to
I LOVE the fact you hand mixed everything. I feel like the food taste more authentic and homemade. I get so much heat for not having a Countertop Stand Mixer. I don't think I ever want to buy one unless my hands/arms gave out on me. I'll be trying this recipe soon.
I agree. I did recently get a mixer -- but really only use it for kneading home-milled whole grain flour dough, which is very heavy (which is why I got the least expensive that can handle heavy dough -- the Nutrimill Artiste). As someone who loves to make the best homemade bread but hates to knead it's been a lifesaver -- but so far I only want to do the cookies and quick breads (like banana bread) mixing by hand, and I suspect it makes it better (AND less to wash when cleaning up)!
Tried this today, super delicious! It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I had to make a small batch of cookies. Here's the recipe: 3/4 cup and 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons and 1+3/4 teaspoons white sugar 1+1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 egg 1/2 egg yolk 3/4 cup and 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon semisweet chocolate chips Yields 8 cookies, it also depends on your preferred size of your cookie The recipe was still from Allrecipes
I make this delicious chew chocolate chip cookies! They are perfect, delicious, soft, i’m a really good cooker, but baking is not my thing. They last one day! I love your channel🦋
This is my favorite recipe too - the 2:1 brown to white sugar, melted (or browned!) butter, extra egg yolk and baking at 325° really makes these better than the others IMO. 😋🍪
Incredibly yummy, it's literally the best cookie I have ever tried! Although it was a bit too sweet for me, so i reduced the sugar. Since i'm from Germany i'm not used to the cup system, but i was able to find some converters on the Internet. This recipe is just amazing, thank you so much and greetings from Germany!
did this accept i used 2 sticks of butter, mixed 1/2 cup of dark chips 72% with the butter and 1/4 cup cream, 2 1/4 cups flour 2 whole eggs. will probably come out super super chewy tho. will update
The thing is that I’m trying to find the PERFECT type of chocolate chip cookie, that is very chewy, and not as sweet. I tried making the chocolate chip cookies by preppy kitchen and they ended up VERY sweet, and before I put them in the oven, I tried to distance them as much as possible, but when I put them in the oven, they STILL started spreading out and sticked together.
BEAT COOKIE RECIPE EVER!! I could never make chocolate chip cookies- in fact I complained about it constantly because I’m a baker that can’t make cookies; how crazy is that! But these look professional, and taste even better. 11/10 reccomend
The most important detail you're leaving out is to let the butter cool after melting it😮...u say once the butter is melted then go ahead and add the sugar... That's gonna result in a huge, unmanageable mess! If this is my first time trying this, I'm not gonna assume that I have to let the butter cool
I think I saw him crack one egg into the red bowl then carefully added the whites of another egg. Just to plop the second egg yoke in seconds later. Very confusing.
I made these cookies today and it turned out so yummy. I’m 13 years old and don’t bake too often and they were really easy to make. They were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I love it!!
Okay I just made decent I'm eating a warm one I'm 71 years old and I've made hundreds of different cookies and now I got to find me say at my age this is the ultimate best chocolate chip cookie be careful not to over bake them yum yum in my tummy 😅❤❤❤❤
I made these cookies and my family LOVED them. They are absolutely delicious and they stay chewy days after...just as he says! This is my new go to recipe for chocolate chip cookies! Thank you so much for sharing 😊
LOVE this recipe!!! I’ve been looking so long for a perfect chocolate chip cookie that is ACTUALLY chewy and this one blew my mind❤️ thanks so much for sharing!
2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, stick and a half of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1 tbsp of vanilla, one egg one egg yolk, and two cups of chocolate chips
BEST COOKIES RECIPE SO FAR!! i tried making cookies using Tasty and Buzzfeed recipes but I can't achieve the desired consistency. For my oven, 13 minutes is enough. My cookies were chewy and the taste was better when I decided to add 1 tablespoon of coffee. Thank you so much, sir! 💛💛💛
This is my #1 recipe for whenever I’m craving cookies. Something really fun to do is to swap out your chocolate chips with mnms to make it more colorful, kids love it. Thank you for this amazing recipe! 🙏
I’ve been trying a thousand recipes of chocolate chip cookies and all of them were a total fail. But now I tried this recipe and they were amazing! Now I can say that I made them!! 😍
I just made them and I’m so happy with the results :) They came out exactly how I wanted them to come out, which is a great feat since my cookies tend to come out differently to how I envisioned them.
Just in case anyone was wondering, I halved this recipe and it turned out fine. It made 12 cookies: 1 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 6 tbsp unsalted butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract 1/2 egg and egg yolk ( Mix 1 egg and separated egg yolk in a bowl. Use half of the mixture in recipe.) 1 cup chocolate chips
Gave this a try with my boyfriend .. when I tell you they are the best soft yet crispy on the outside cookies I’ve ever had . Great work on that recipe 👏🏻
I made this today, and it's crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside! I will reduce the amount of sugar though, that's just my preference. This is a recipe worth keeping! Salamat for sharing.
I just made this but I change the flour with oatmeal flour I did half with chocolate then other half with cranberries, and man they taste so good cant stop eating them. Thanks for this great recipe , the beat on the background music 👌
These cookies are SO amazing! I’m very picky with my cookies, I love chocolate chip cookies and they have to be made just right, and these are beyond words! Thank you 🍪
