Mr Mister Man, sir, what would you recommend today for best budget headless FIXED bridge? Preferably not multi scale, 6 string, for my first cheap build?
Been looking at this bridge and considering adding it to my NK hard tail. I'd need to route trem and spring cavity so it might be easier to get a krait that comes with the bridge. In the meantime I'm weighing scalloping the fretboard on my NK. If I botch it I can get an endurneck to replace it.
In my experience on my nk the action on the neck is super low. Probably the lowest action ive ever played. I would consider adjusting that before scalloping the neck thats quite a process and it can ruin the neck if you dont like it.

Hello MrMisterMan. I want to build a headless custom guitar and was also looking for a good 8 stringed, multi scale tremolo. I will be investing quite some money on it, so I would really like to have high quality stuff in there. Considering all your research in the subject, do you consider this bridge to be very good or just good enough? I could also just throw away my idea of a headless guitar and go for a Kahler bridge. If you were in my place, what would you like to do best? Greetings from Mexico
I'm building a headless and I was planning on using the bridges from Apollo Music Parts (Solid guitar bridge 14″ angle) and does that come with the tuners on top of the headless guitar? or what should i get? Sorry im new to building guitars.

lol if you got khaler ,,and want floyd rose ,,that is no pain i guess just drop thru or what,, khaler makes bass tremolos that f hold tune i said enough i think
What's up! Thanks for this man. I can't believe you've got a krait. Is it okay?? They have this strandberg 7 copy with that trem you mention. I've got my eye on that 7 or the nk 7 with their new floating bridge. Lemme know about krait!
@@mrmisterman999 its just ..i bought a body with floyd cavity and i m not puttin up with floyd again , i find the idea of infinite tuners at this spot very handy !! i used to play a strat knock off with locking nut and standard tremolo and there i did the tuning totally awkwardly with a hexbold by the tremolo cause it was more tuning stable to do so (keeping locking nut closed) ... this kinda tremolo (in your video) is just playing absolutly into my hands ... i found a marvelous infinite tuner tremolo called sophia but its freaky expensive if you go full kit on it ...
@@solunasunrise ya those Sophia's are pricey. If you're not sure about a floating trem watch my video with my blue Steinberger copy I put this same trem on it but I blocked the cavity so it's more like a fixed trem. Not sure if it solves your problem but maybe gives you another option
@@mrmisterman999 no i am sure about them , just want one all black with chrome-red infinite tuners and it gotta fit floyd rose cavity ... this one to be precise : www.ebay.de/itm/Unfinished-6-String-RG-Jem-Guitar-Body-Xiphos-Basswood-Fits-RG-Necks/151615379718?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 ....
Hey, one day, you should take the next step and try to learn to play a simple song one day, like Old Mcdonald Had a Farm, or maybe Happy Birthday or something? Because your tremolo picking is a disaster, man...If Gordon Ramsay was a guitarist, he'd report you to the health authorities lol
I have talked alot with the actual goc dealers on aliexpress. The problem is 2 fold. 1. You have to buy them when they do runs. Meaning a certain number of people have to put in orders and when they get enough orders they'll start the run. Which could take months. 2. Guitar prices for runs are around 450 to 500. But if you just want a goc non run they're 800$. Also I dont like the fact they wont or dont make quilt or flame maple tops. I wouldn't mind getting one but it's too much of a hassle
MrMisterMan huh. I wasn't aware of all that. I've played a few, and they are incredibly smooth. Honestly I just wish the Endurneck profile would be licensed out. To me, that's the benefit of a Strandberg.
MrMisterMan whoa! For $500 you can even get a nevk thru?! I'm definitely buying one, just not sure if I want to get the kit, a bolt-on, or the neck thru!
