Opening this made me feel like a kid on christmas morning. Such a cool cigar cabinet! What are your thoughts on this humidor? Discord: / discord Instagram: @ashandoakcigars Tiktok: @ashandoakcigars
Thats thrue. I can confirm that. I bought two of them for different locations. One location has extremly hot summer and they work perfectly both. Set and forget. And the response for any questions is instantly. A must have if u want to smoke cigars and not worry about humidity and temperature. Amonia removal is additional plus. Toppp👍👍🥂
Excellent review. Thank you. Do you know if they offer a large unit with a water float for automatic refill capability if I connect my reverse osmosis system?
@@Adrian-gw7pi On Wayfair the MA50 is $997, $1200 on their site. It's 100L so I'm guessing maybe 400-500 cigars. The one he's showing is 220L and it's $3200.
@ash&oak Hey Ryan, have you figured out a source for the wet humidification film that is inside the distilled water cabinet draw at the bottom? I have the ma50 by Raching and love it but am looking for resources for it! Btw great vid!!👍
I do not, but Raching official and Katrina Wang (a raching rep) both commented on this video. Try messaging them and maybe they can help? Or message me on Instagram and I can try to help more
Not at all - just fill the reservoir with distilled water and let it run for a few hours! It's very easy to set up and very low maintenance. You're going to love it!
@@lawrenceeshoo5628 I wouldn't believe that price from Wayfair. When I made the above post a month ago, $982 was the listed price on Wayfair. I checked a few days later, and it had jumped to $1004. I thought that the price was ramping up due to the approach of Christmas, so I bit the bullet and purchased from Wayfair on Nov. 28th and completed the purchase with an estimated delivery date of Dec. 4th. On Dec. 9th, after not receiving any shipment notice, I contacted Wayfair and was told I could open an "investigation," which could take up to 10 days. I elected to do this, and on Dec. 19th, I received a notice of cancellation of my order and a refund to my Paypal account for $1087 and change. I contacted Wayfair, and the person I spoke with could not give a good reason for the cancellation other than a "distributor issue." I was then asked if I would like to re-order for $1299 with a 10% discount for my trouble. At that moment, I checked Amazon, and it was listed for $1299 there as well, so I figured that was the going price. The Wayfair rep advised that the unit was in stock, so shipment would be quick. I decided to take a chance, so with the discount, I ended up paying around $1260 +/-. I re-ordered on the 19th, received a shipment notice on the 21st, and the unit arrived at my door on the 23rd!. This unit arrived in splendid condition, with no problems, operates flawlessly, and the one support question I had on the setting of temp and RH (due to the poorly written owner's manual Language barrier) was responded to quickly by Raching. I am thoroughly delighted with the unit, but I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY FROM WAYFAIR AFTER THE BAIT-AND-SWITCH TACTIC USED ON ME!
Not under $1000. Try 3-4k. Also anyone know a good Cigar Coolidor that has a better display? I prefer the slightly slanted shelves with lights above..lol
The boveda pack was only in there for a couple days to help with the cigars acclimate to the transition - there are no humidification packs in there now!
The boveda packs aren't needed! I had some spanish cedar trays in a tupperdor, and the boveda packs were for that. I just kinda tossed them in when transferring everything over. I don't have any packs in there now, and its still working great!
I also think boveda packs are good for redundancy. Maybe you forget to fill it with water for a while or something fails, at least you have the packs to keep it in the right zone for a while.
You make the claim that it holds Humidity, whould you sir please care to explain to your audience why your Bugatti happen to have a Bovida pack as a reinforcement in there. Note: I dont speak on behalf of all thermoelectric HUMIDOR owners, but I can report that there a major RH reading fluctuation between the different shelf levels which can only be detected using say a quality hydrometer posted on each shelf. Thanks for the review.
@@oda6104 I still have it. It's good but pricey. There's a competitor entering the market that's the same quality but half the price that I made a video on
There's no way you put 3 gallons of distilled water in your unit. The bigger MON3800 only holds just shy of 2 gallons. You seem to be very miss informed in your review. I wonder if you got yours for free to do a quick review...hmmmm
@@ashandoak meh, facts matter when you're doing reviews bro. Just like you make it sound like you can buy your MON2800 for less than $1000. Anyway you seem pretty amateurish, good luck as you mature.
