I believe this one has a compressor cooler instead of a thermal electric cooler. If so, a bóveda probably won't be sufficient to maintain humidity. (Compressor will remove humidity)
I just upgraded to a Woodronic humidor. Only holds 100-150 sticks, no fancy air system, but might be enough for my needs. The new air looks cool, but not sure I have the discipline to do ageing.
Wow Brian you guys are making me sick watching this. I am so glade to to be in the Pravda club. But man the sticks you are putting away is making my mouth water. Just got back to work after losing my job back in December. Keep up the hard work for us. The 840 is on my list to get. Stay smokey my cigar smoking family 👪 Oh I have been in the printing business for 36 years and the gold on the cigar bands are done by hot stamping or cold foil.
Bro. Don’t tease use with the chocolate cookie and Montenegro. So nice that’s it’s nasty, so banging it’s bustin’, so sweet that’s it’s sick, so dope it’s disgusting. #weareprivada
I take it off only in its final rest. Meaning, I know I'm gonna smoke that cigar in a week or two and it wont move around...take it off...but this never needs to happen. Hope this helps! #weareprivada #cigarculture
So that´s why Mombacho Diplomático are sold out now!!! hahaha.... the space between drawers seems too much, is it possible to buy extra drawers? Also, are we going to receive those Batista? or it will ever be available on the shop? I really want to try those
Love it man...like a kid in a candy store...that 840 looks menacing...I'm with a 200 and 350 "thermonuclear". And a couple of table top 100 one...might look into it....keep the freaking great work 💪👷😋😀👍
Latest and greatest from Newair and also out of stock. Question though is it worth the $1500? I'm sure someone will say how much is your cigar collection worth? All good. Comment away. Does anyone besides Brian have one of these?
Great Cigars :) I got the 250 count one and so far does a great job and it looks great, excelent way of presenting cigars that are not for every day smoking.
Those D’Crossier maduros are my favorite cigars at the moment. I need to try to get a couple more of those tins before you sell out. $5 / stick is insane.
tbf i would (just about) crawl over broken glass to get some of those vaults, such a great experience that was straight into my wheelhouse of cigar appreciation.
Damn ... that collection ... needed a bib; make that a drop cloth ... Great info may have to change from just smoking up ‘til gone. Get some to lay down....
I’ve heard of sanding down cedar but never done it. I assume you use a real fine grit just to open up that top layer. How often are your supposed to do it and do you need to re season after?
gorgeous collection, will be adding some to mine later. I find there’s too much space in between the drawers since I don’t want to over lay cigars too high. Cheers
@@PrivadaCigarClub Hell I still have one of my cookie monster sticks left. Saving it. When you were putting sticks in the coolidor, I went to the site to find each stick as best I could and put 2 of them in my cart. Well, that came out to a bit too much for me to spend. So I have to hold off. Lol
Its really cool to see your personal inventory in this video, and know that I have a lot of these same cigars in mine now thanks to Privada Cigar Club! #weareprivada #buckleupladies
That humidor is a beauty. The way I am ordering from Privada regularly I may need to look into a 840 count. Thanks for the great video and beautiful looking sticks
If you have more resources, pass and get a Raching. If you consider new air expensive, get it because it’s passable and going to a lower tier option is a bad idea.
These new humidors/coolers/heaters are the way to go. I have tried all options over the years and these are hands down the best. I have two smaller ones from a different manufacturer with just cooling. The reason being. I live in the northeast in a 100 year old house. I have them in the cellar which rarely goes above 70 degrees. I have a small glass of distilled water in each and use 65% Heartfelt Industry beads in containers that are two way humidity control. The humidity is always spot on once it settles. The most important part of these humidors which I believe is key, are the fans which keeps the air constantly circulating. I am definitely a no-cello person and none of my cigars in them have cello as a personal preference. One thing I did notice is if you put in a new purchase, the humidity will rise to about 67 to 69%. This certainly makes me believe that most distributors keep there cigars at 70 to 72% for long term storage. It may actually take your humidor a few weeks to settle back to 65%. Patience is the key. That Newair is the bomb but out of my budget right now being an old retiree getting paid once a month now. Hey Mr. Brian! Can you possibly arrange a big PCC group buy at a nice savings? Oh-Gee signing off....lol
Great video brother! I'm gonna pick one of those up when we move into a house, have the 250 for now but I wanted to ask you what Temperature & RH would you recommend for properly aging the cigars inside these? Lmk what you end up setting it to plz as we both live in FL same weather, temps, etc.
Man I want one bad there out of stock every where lol! I was looking at the Ebar, any good ? Also I saw those cookies 🍪 so jelly . Can’t wait for the March pack/ March 5th saved my pennies up lol! Keep up the good work guys. N.p
You had all the sticks wrapped from your retirement cooler, then unwrapped to put in the newair. I thought you mentioned in another video that it did not matter for ageing, or am I wrong?
Love the info, and that unit is pretty badass. I'm just reminded by this of ALL the AMAZING smokes this club has been able to afford us, and I'm humbled to be a part of it all. Thank you Brian for all the work you put into this, truely, one of a kind community experience. And Clark - pace yourself, my dude! 😆🤣 - just teasing. Clark, you're great. Smoke 'em all
Thank you so much, Nathan! We are humbled to have members like you! We will continue to put in work for our community! And I will let Clark know LOL #weareprivada
Ill like to try one chocolate cookie please if you'd like to send one, that was looking mighty F.I.N.E. Wow what a great collection of cigars you got aging bro .
Damn I wish I had real money so I could get that humidor and actually have it filled with rare sticks like that. It's like a work of art. You want to look at the sticks like they are in a museum.
