With many different classes of drag racing available to punters nowadays a crowd favourite and certainly ours is small tyre radial racing. Heads up on a 275 tyre is where it’s at and with such a diverse field of cars and engines, the limiting factor is always going to be the tyre. At the recent Sydney Jamboree the RCE Performance Warehouse J275 class fielded a strong lineup.

I don't think the man himself races. He pays for blokes to race his stuff. He has guys racing historic motorcycles as well. Sounds like a good guy.

My first car was a 876whp Supra on 275/35r18 street tires and it would blow the tires off at 70mph in 3rd, small tire is so awesome!

AFAIK the Aussies do run that same X275 rules as NMRA and NMCA. Perhaps you could tell us how their rules differ from the US main X275 rules and what your point is?

@@-MacCat- I'm not trying to be a dick but we got a nitrous 23 degree headed car goin 4.30s and small block turbo single 85 and 88mm turbo and procharger cars goin high 4.20s and .30's so alot of those cars are gonna have to figure something out if yall do run our rules I've only seen one aussie bring a rvw car over hear and another guy who bought Kevin Mullens red stang and had a C7 twin turbo hemi built hear hes the only Australian run our rules and be kinda competitive

@@woodgrain18 Radial cars have only just taken off here in Aus. It’s still kinda new to a lot of people. Plus most radial cars here are street cars and by street car I don’t mean U.S style street car. I’m talking factory floor pans, no wheel tub modifications due to heavily regulated road laws. Give it time. We’ll catch up.

Yall did have a few outlaw 10.5 cars that held records for a while. Yall definitely have the cars and power to run the numbers but I've heard from a few aussie fellas that the tracks just ain't great when it comes to radial prep
