Idk why i am watching this review. The sec i saw the shape of the u2 compared to my Np01s on eloshapes, i already knew i was gonna buy it. Very nice review though it goes into a lot of detail. And i would def recommend anyone looking for a claw grip mouse to watch this video.
Thank you sir. It took me like 2 weeks to adjust to a shape like this since I mained the DAV3 for 8 months and EC2-CW for a year. I'm actually considering maining the U2 now.
I just tried this mouse. I can say that the coating feeling is great, it gives a very good grip feeling. I have the Razer deathadder V3 Pro, but I don't like its coating quality, I have to constantly correct my grip grip again and again, it feels rough and the Razer seemed big and long. The length of U2 is quite good, my hand is 18.5x10.5cm. Zowie U2 fills my palm very well, my thumb position is perfect, but since the right side was too thin, I couldn't place my pinkie finger as I wanted. I hold relax claw or pincer claw. So which mouse do you think I would be more comfortable with? Would you recommend Vaxee, endgame or pulsar models?
You can try the GPX 2 or the Viper V3 Pro. Vaxee are also great but I would wait for the updated and lighter version of their mouse. When it comes to EndGame and Pulsar I really have nothing to recommend for this brand at this point in time. EGG's current popular mouse is the OP1 8K but that will be too small and for Pulsar maybe the Xlite V3 but I heard the quality is not that great.
Vaxee mouse are great, it can be costly depending on where you live. I think they're quality is similar to Zowie. I'd wait for the updated Vaxee mice. It's going to be lighter.
I wonder for the ring finger, how it feels ? Seems that ledge is just too small. The height of the mouse doesn’t bother you ? Noticed that you have the ec2cw , does it work with the same receiver? Thanks
It has enough room for my pinky. If you want you could wait for the upcoming FK2-W. If you want a low profile claw grip mouse. The U2 eight is fine for me but I prefer medium to large mice. To answer your 2nd question you can't use it with the same receiver. AFAIK
@@khensationalReviews thank you for your reply. I also have the EC2-CW, this was the reason of the receiver question. I purchased recently a ZA-12C(feels a little to big), but I want to return it, to grab the ZA-13C. I do not like that much low profile mices. I tend to go on the higher profile, to touch it with the palm and back palm. I feel the U2, doesn't offer that support, yeah probably I could use some grip rubber to make it higher, also the ring finger I like to put it on the upper ledge of the mouse(on the ec2-cw is room for that), but from what I've seen there is not that much room to put it.
maannn if zowie added 4k or 8k polling rate it would be a no brainer for the majority of people, their QC is top tier even today, they should be invested more into the mouse market as they could literally dominate it if they wanted to instead they just lazed around all these years since it was bought by BENQ, and barely released any products and even a wireless version only about a year ago they finally done it, they are sooo slowww to innovation
I only have my ring finger on the far right. My pinky rests on the right inward curve towards the rear. It was only uncomfortable during the first 2 weeks while my hand is trying to adapt to this new shape.
@@khensationalReviews i have both my pinky and ring finger on far right side on a gpx/ec2-cw. You reckon it would be uncomfortable? For reference i hate the outward flare on the ulx medium and prefer inward/straight sides.
I use a pretty weird mouse grip. Is a relaxed claw but my main contact on the palm is in the upper part not the lower. I have 19,5 by 11 hands and currently use a g403. Do you think this can be a good upgrade?
@@khensationalReviews My pinky finger is somewhat curved on the side of the mouse, my ring finger is just straight on the upper right corner which i thing is bc the mouse is too wide on the front, when i hold something narrower is feels natural putting my ring finger on the side.

GPX 2 is pretty meh for what it is just different switches and thats it. Its the exact same encoder as GPX 1. The U2 has rear hump and narrow side. Its more claw focused. In terms of durability ive had no issues or wharsover with my EC2CW which I used for a year heavily and now the U2. Its been flawless
both the dave and the g305 I keep tilting in one directin (g305 is back heavy so I tilt it back and for some reason I tilt the dave to the right). GPX was really solid for me, is the U2 very different from the gpx? I use some kinda weird claw/fingertip hybrid where I fingertip to control recoil@@khensationalReviews
Do you know anything about the encoder? I spam clicking my scrollwheel and in my za13c, za12c, s2c just doesnt work the same after a while. i have basic problems with even scrolling. is it different one or the same? (if other one would make sense as they switched mouse switches and sensor)
Its probably the same one. If you look at the scrollwheel pic in the video, it has some lube on it and it had huano black shell blue dots. I also click my M3 here and there and it's not my favorite since its not easy to spam but I never had any issues on mine. I used my EC2CW heavily for almost a year and have no issues with scrolling or m3
Sorry sir but I have never even considered testing any mouse at 500hz. I would say slightly longer maybe by a few hours longer. Also it's extremely hard to keep track of the battery life because of the charging dock.
I personally can't say for sure. You can give it a try but then again I always prefer a different shape for palm. Something like a EC3CW, Lamzu Thorn, And NP01-S for small hand users
i dont get this U2 design. it's a brick with old tech and it doesn't have a split shell design for the main buttons. i thought we already established that's the way to go... then you have this obelisk like monstrosity on your desk just for 1k hz polling. it's like they are solving problems that don't exist. sports scientific part also seems more like some mumbo jumbo. it's like they figured out something basic like agressive claw bent index clicks faster and thus they made an aggressive claw shaped mouse. what innovation?😂 the specked down sensor kinda falls in line with the obelisk and the clicks and the weight. it's mediocre at best. scroll wheel just the same. they could have added corepads in the box. that would have been a nice touch and statement. nah, put this black briquettes in there, we are zowie! they'll look long and hard and will find a reason to like it. (btw, i find big skates nice for soft pads, especially on the front) who is getting paid to test these mice? certainly not an aim trainer main. and the last question i have is who is still buying this zowie stuff. compared to an op1 8k, sora v2, pulsar x2, r1 pro, etc. pp, what does this thing actually offer that is beneficial to a gamer? zowie as a brand really feels like this slow and heavy dinosaur that is too big for its own good to turn around and do something meaningful.
@@khensationalReviews but will it feel better than a op1 8k click with adjustable tension and hot swap? is it 39g like a sora v2? is it worth the the price compared to the competition? the issue i am having is, a new mouse always feels kinda good for the first week or so. try switching back to your old mice, you'll see where i am coming from. but after that honey moon period, is it actually still viable as a top tier pick? the clicks are weird with weird tensioning system that need a special torque on the screws on the bottom of the mouse. op1 8k hot swap basically made that system redundant. is it light enough to compete with the models like the sprime pm1, sora v2, x2v2, finalmouse (🤮). does it have corepad skates out of the box instead of this teflon rubbish, they came with on the original ec2 b? split shell clicks are good, yes? why does boardzys version creak, even if it was hand-picked for reviewers? why is the mouse wheel still dogwater? who plays with enough mice in a stadium to make that ovelisk viable. ever heard anyone complain of the standard receiver of a known brand? why does one reviewer say his hand hurts after prolonged period of gaming. does that sound like some scientist really did something concerning the shape? the point i am trying to make is, this mouse was good at about the same time the razer v2 pro came out, but we are here now. and it simply isn't worth the money nor is it any form of outstanding whatsoever. it's just another mediocre claw mouse in today's standards and i expect more from them than this. vaxee is going to mop the floor with them. especially click feel, weight and coating. this disappoints me more than the gpx 2 release. this isn't made to perform for gamers. this is made to fill their pockets.
@@khensationalReviews well, i made many more arguments than just the weight. but then why don't you try a vaxee. they should be right down your ally. also please don't take this the wrong way. i am merely disappointed, because this mouse should have been out at the same time as the v2 pro or the gpx to be competitive specs wise. that it took them until now just shows how slow they are. personally, i still prefer my x2h mini over all of them but i want a lighter mouse. while 60-70 is fine and playable, i just notice the weight and i like shapes that lock me into an agressive claw with some in-hand maneuverability. i wanna see the op1 8k button implementation in more wireless mice. hot swap with that the new button construction is pretty much a unicorn right now. got the sora v2 on the way, because i wanna see what 40g feels like without holes and a smaller hump. from the big brands all that interests me right now is the viper v3 pro, because they finally fixed the shape.
