Did you realize you don’t have a typical New York accent but say coffee like your from Brooklyn or my cousin Vinny - even funnier is when you say coffee multiple times fast your Brooklyn coffee accent suddenly disappears

I sat in a coffee shop on the Northside of Chicago and ordered an egg sandwich and a cup of coffee. That was the best scrambled egg sandwich I have ever had.

So I lived in NYC 21/22 and never went to one of these places! As an Australian we are very fussy about our coffee and I found the cafes in NYC excellent (contrary to popular oz opinion that the USA is dreadful for coffee...).

I went to NY over Christmas and struggled to find a decent coffee - though perhaps I didn't know where to look. Here in New Zealand you can get a good coffee even at a corner gas station.

Legit places. The soho butler is not as good as the dumbo one. Yannis is so good, they brew all SEY coffee. Also love SEY, they are in my neighborhood and are legit the best coffee roastery and cafe in NYC imo. Loooooove Arabica if I’m in Dumbo too. Such cool vibes.
