Used to split a small amount monthly to buy different stocks. Later with time I realised if our conviction is strong about an undervalued company in a particular month it is far more simpler to focus the small amount of fund into a single stock and move on with life.
There are challenges in buying bonds also. When buying we have to pay brokerage and premium which will cause some capital loss. I see that some of the bonds with 13.5% coupon rate are being sold with a face value for 109 Rs. We are taking high risk for lower return. The person who is selling is making a huge profit. And how liquid the bonds are when we try to liquidate them during a stock market correction ? We might have to sell them in a discount. Then there are taxes. Not sure if investing 1L in bonds is really a good idea.
Amazing conversation guys... Myself being in the mid 20s I could relate to Kishore's situation but I have a question though. Can one treat PGINVIT as a kind of a bond investment? One, it pays more dividend than most bonds and two it is pretty much secure. What is your opinion? Is going for PGINVIT (regular monthly SIP kind) better than saving up and buying bonds?
Sir i m saying my opinion that diversitification is important but not on here 10Stocks there 10stocks we should analysis the company and we should make high beats on high porfitable business. If anand sir says 4stocks analysis it go for 2stocks and make high beats and watch company activity and go for job and have an good sleep. And in my view we we should diversify our money by stocks bonds gold's and little bit realestate. Not on buying numerous companies ...
Please explain with some example about Tax Harvesting to save some money in The Long Term Investment... I invested around 2.5 L in stocks... In the coming FY , how to do tax harvesting by selling and buying the same stocks which I'm holding for the long term...
Thank you albin and vinod sir for posting this topic it's really mind opening and i to have so many doubts regarding this bonds and passive funds.I am already aware of these funds and bonds but the problem is i have been investing in these equity market for six months not in a huge amount like Anand sir recommended i buy in tiffin coffee range now I'm confused should i continue investing in equity or try to invest in passive funds can you suggest something in your upcoming video I'm looking forward for your answer cheers :)

Sir, pulling out money from mutual fund will stop the compounding effect. As I move from squar 1 to suqar 2 the money will double. If I pull out the money then compounding will stop. I have to start from squar 1 again. Thus defeating the compounding effect. Please share your feedback for this please.

And who is going to pay the tax when u cut ur winners and move them to bonds! Buy stocks out of bonds interest - this is one of the futile advice I ever heard.l, that's going to be peanuts and u r never going to build any wealth.
