Hi. For children and adults taking TNF blockers, including HUMIRA, the chance of getting lymphoma or other cancers may increase. In 52 global controlled and uncontrolled clinical trials of HUMIRA in adult patients with RA, PsA, AS, CD, UC, Ps, HS and UV with a median duration of approximately 0.7 years, including 24,605 patients and over 40,215 patient- years of HUMIRA, the observed rate of lymphomas was approximately 0.11 per 100 patient- years ... Every HS patient is not same. The response to the injection depends on the severity and extent of the problem.

I'm hoping that maybe you could point me in the right direction because right now I don't know what to do anymore. I'm going to give a warning this is going to be a little graphic everybody. I am a bilateral I'm missing both my legs one aboveknee and the other is a hip disarticulation. I have stage 3 hidradenitis suppurativa. I have it all over my body but the worst is around my rectum. Twice this year I've had surgery to drain abscesses that get the size of Nerf footballs cutting half long way. The last one being last week on Halloween I laid down an hour before trick-or-treating starts within that hour a golf ball-sized abscess turned into a huge one like I mentioned above. My white blood cell count was over 30000. I need to find the right surgeon to remove all the tracking in the whole Ant Farm thing around my rectum and in a couple other places on my body. The probably one running into is because of my amputations doctors are scared of me because of the pressure that's applied to that area when I sit. I've got to find someone to help me I can't keep going through this over and over. I can't take Humira because of my liver. I've been on doxycycline, clindamycin, clindamycin gel, acitretin, dutasteride. The list goes on and on and nothing is helping. I'm at my wit's end. I live with horrible chronic pain from the loss of my legs and now my arms hurt so bad because they've been overused so much. I've had failed back surgery that pain from that. And now I've got the stupid h s on top of everything period is just making my life miserable. I want to go to Florida and have dr. Resnick do surgery but I can't afford 300 Telehealth fees and he doesn't take my insurance. I cannot find anybody in the state of Illinois to help me. I don't know what to do anymore
@dranujpall
@dranujpall 2 года назад
Hi. I really understand the pain you are going through. It is very frustrating at times to live with HS. The most important aspect of management is to stop activity of the disease. I think Humira along with oral antibiotics or Rifampicin would be a great choice. Please share your liver function tests. Would like to run through them. Liver injury by Humira is a rare side effect.

Honestly, if its bad enough, screw the stigma and take opioids AS DIRECTED from a doc and ONLY during the worst part of outbreaks (not everyday) It is dangerous but especially if used incorrectly. I’ve tried everything for my HS and that is all that helps (also try Spirilactone (not sure about spelling). It’s a diuretic and its use is off label for HS but it has cut my outbreaks by a third. I know these docs are trying but they haven’t helped me one bit and in some cases made it worse. Laser Surgury can make the scar tissue worse. Antibiotics don’t do anything. The whole Clyndemycin thing is BS. And God help you if you take Humira. It might help - then again you might get septic and die. Just based on my experience. Everyone is different.

@@Kosh2112 I just want to stop having emergency surgery all the time. the ones I get on my rear end are huge and they have to put me to sleep you drain them. I had five emergency surgery just last year. I'm hoping I'm not getting another flare-up now because I just don't feel right. When I get this drained don't want to do nothing just ugh feeling oh, that's usually one something start forming. I've got them everywhere right now from my butt to my groin to my chest my neck back of my neck. I even get them on my forearms

Wish healthcare in America was accessible to those who weren’t born rich or work a job with really REALLY good insurance cause 95 percent of insurance plans in America don’t do shit to pay for nothing. If I had this right to healthcare hopefully I would have found something like this earlier. Now I feel I’m far too gone. Well maybe not cause the girl in this video looks far worse than me. How much would something like this cost without insurance

Hi. I understand your concerns. It is not mandatory to go for biological treatment in every patient suffering from HS. It is possible to treat mild cases with medical management. There are biosimilars which are cheaper as compared to Humira. You can also explore that option.
