He might not have remembered the young man's name at the time. I mean, he knows that everything he says is going to be scrutinized by the office, other wrestlers, fans, and so on. The name of a wrestler in training who he hit a finisher on in the group of others probably wasn't anywhere near the top of his mind during the interview.

My whole thing is that the Cross Rhodes is a facebuster. So why is everyone selling it like a piledriver or a DDT. Just play it say and land on your damn face like Seth did.
Because if everyone sells a move the same way, it loses it's touch. He sold it in a dangerous way but it made the move look so much better. Rollins' sell was also beautiful just because of the hangtime they got. The Stone Cold Stunner is meant for you to fall to your knees and fall forward face first but nobody does that thanks to The Rock for overselling it as a joke.

I have watched the finish of that tag match with The SHIELD a million times. The crowd, the commentary, the way Seth took that Cross Rhodes - all perfection.
ngl sounds like hes going out of his way not to give the guy credit, bro took an extra step to make "the face" of the company look good. then answer a diff question at the end, chris asked about the best SELL of the cross rhodes not the best cross rhodes
To sell a CrossRhodes that good is such a skill because it’s not an easy move to sell in a unique way. Kudos to Dave Goldy for making Cody look like a billion dollars on that one🤙🏾
Seth is such a good, understated seller. In time people will recognize that he was the best WWE worker of his era. That said, the headstand sell was perfect.
