I’m so glad you guys did all this “research” for the rest of us. ROFL! So the takeaway message is basically, awesome food on Viking?

I've been snooping in on your videos for a while now, and have never commented I am ashamed to say. You two are so adorable, so warm and comical. You two do such a fantastic job in how your present your videos, your explanations and detail, as well as such interesting content. thank you so much for all the work you put into your videos. SOMEONE has to sample all that food so we can live vicariously through you. :)

I love all the restaurants on Viking, never had a bad moment or a bad meal. Also never did breakfast in the MDR, I like to get up early, hit the gym and then go to the World Cafe for morning buffet. The selections are really great in the buffet so it's hard to go wrong at all. Mamsen's is also a great place for breakfast with the fabulous waffles. For dinner, we eat in Manfredi's almost every other night, love the menu and the desserts are fantastic. Our favorite is tiramasu. I have also never done room service on a cruise, I just like to get going in the morning and don't want to take the extra time for it. I am so missing our Viking cruises, had two cancelled this past year and we were supposed to be on the Venus this month in the Baltic, so obviously you guys took our stateroom, 🤣😎. I haven't tried the Chef's Table yet, but, will do so the next time we are on Viking.Your British dinner looked absolutely wonderful. I think their drinks package is the best deal on the sea, $20 per day per person is such an absolute bargain. No other line comes even close to this.

Ben I would love your Yorkshire pudding recipe. My grandmother came from England so I was brought up with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding but I never got her recipe and I miss having them. ☹️

What a great video! We just returned yesterday from an 8-day Viking Iceland cruise. It was spectacular! This was our third Viking ocean cruise and, if possible, I believe the food just keeps getting better! The Covid protocols were easy to follow and didn’t feel too restrictive.

Thank you guys for your personal sacrifices. Eating for us is so nice!!! To suffer heartburn bloating and tummy aches for us is so sweet. Your the best.

Please don't speak for all the English. Streaky bacon (crispy) is what my family has always used not the flacid middle bacon. We also detest baked beans but love some crispy bits of black pudding.

@17:13 that is how the American Pasty was created as well. I use to live in the area that has a similar story as well. The Iron Ore miners would make the pasty at home would bring them to the mines. During their lunch break they would use their shovels over an open fire to cook them. The American pasty is usually filled with potatoes, onions, rhubarb, and either minced beef or pork.

Viking wasn’t even really on my radar, at least for my next few years of planned cruises, but this makes me want to set my sights on Viking ASAP. Thanks for these detailed videos.

Thank you for the food tour on the Viking Ocean ship. My husband and I have only sailed on the Viking longboats where the food is also delicious. Because of your wonderful food review, we are now going to go on a Viking Ocean ship. As a side note, I can’t stop laughing through your food tour of the Venus ship…especially since I now eat carnivore and my husband eats keto. 😄

We just got off the Viking Orion. We thought the food was outstanding!!! The high tea was especially nice. We ate in every restaurant and thought the food and service were terrific!

Yippee… starting my early morning with you two cheerful people!😀 This makes me SO homesick for the Viking Star. We did the Into the Midnight Sun cruise in 2019. Two weeks on her and it was by far the very best cruise we’ve ever taken!!

My husband and I love watching your cruises, and I happened across the other video on this Viking Venus cruise you did stopping in Liverpool and you promised to do another video about the food, and here it is!!! I said, Mark!! Look!! The date on video 1 is my birthday!!! I didn't realize the English Channel was that big!! And like someone else said, we're living vicariously thru your videos until our next cruise, which at this point is 1 year after my 1st cruise. I'm hoping to talk my husband into 2 cruises a year!
