The BEST Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Track (Cyberpunk Edgerunners Soundtrack OST Season 1 Review) 

While this is definitely the most underrated easily. Also somewhat underrated and probably my favourite song is Major Crimes - HEALTH & Window Weather. Playing Ghostrunner with that on is incredible

imo the best track is "who's ready for tomorrow". It's a banger, and the lyrics essentially spell out David's story.

This song is so good, and it fits the game as well as the anime so well. Major Crimes is another one that fits so well with both the anime and game. The soundtrack for both are incredible

I love how the song really does represent what you have said about the start of David's downfall. He thought he was special because he can handle military-grade tech. He thought that he can help others by living in their dreams, and he was warned- in episode 5 if I am not mistaken- about cyberpsychoisis. Episode 8 really does show the start of the climax and the falling actions of our tragic hero- David. We really start seeing the consequences of his actions in that scene and I feel like the song shows an incredible representation of our unconscious in a way. The lyrics are a chant of some sort about awakening dark, deep desires. The omnimous lighting makes us feel the unsettlement of the scene, there is so much unsettlement within a few seconds of an episode.

Personally, I think the best track is acid breather by Mastiff. It kicked me in the face when I heard it in the show
