Great video, I have never played a barb in d4 yet, I used to play charge barb in D3 so this new patch is bringing me back :D I am wondering what is a good leveling build for barbs, everywhere i look they all say that barbs are slow to level, as this changed?
There was a recent Hardcore Race (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DI-7wRHAZzc.html) and the winner was Carn (www.twitch.tv/carn_) playing a Barb! Before the new season starts, I'm going to update the Maxroll Upheaval Barbarian Leveling Guide (maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides/upheaval-barbarian-leveling-guide) inspired by Carn's build.
Good video but as long as the passive "Furious hammer of the ancients" exists the way it is, I don't think any core skill can match the damage of Hota, OP or not. - SirMeowss
A few things: 1) I used to play Charge Barb in D3 so I'm happy to see that there will be a significant buff in S3 2) Heart of Selig will be either nerfed or removed so there needs to be a change there 3) The buff to charge might be significant enough to make it the prime damage-dealing skill 4) I still think the Charge + Rend combo is good 5) Rallying cry + Tibaults might still work for resource gen 6) Charge can overpower so I will wait to see what the changes to it will be 7) Hopefully there will be a fix to gushing wounds Finally, I seriously think you're on to something with Charge + Rend and will most def try some version of this combo build out.
Wondering if I don't have a Selig earlier in the season should I swap out a damage skill for a defensive skill instead like iron skin/shout for pushing nightmare dungeons.
The malignant rings will remain in the game, and we are getting a new ring as well. Ring of the Ravenous Rend’s duration is increased by 2.0-4.0 seconds. Damaging enemies with Brawling Skills applies 2 stacks of Rend's Bleed. This effect can only occur once every 4 seconds per enemy. news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23964909/diablo-iv-patch-notes
Just because something gets buffed that doesn't mean it's going to be best, lmao. Not even close. They would have would have to go overboard to make any build better than HotA
I agree that HotA is still King of Big Damage. If the leaderboard challenges this season are like AoZ was last season, HotA will probably be the best. But if the monsters are significantly weaker, then maybe a faster build will win a race against the clock.
