Its not tricky at all, you dont have to solve for explicit solution because W Lambert function is hard to compute by hand anyway and if you are using computer to graph, you don't need explicit formula

@@rafiihsanalfathin9479 Your response is irrelevant. You are using computer, not solving it. That means this is hard. This question is not about compute lambert W function but make a solution using it. That is the hard part.

@@Min-cv7nt lambert W function seems a bit arbitrary to me, function like log exp etc in general is applicable in many branch of mathematics yet lambert W function is almost nonexistent. To me, it just felt like you create an arbitrary function to solve certain things and now you have solve something the way the function is defined. Its not really useful in real life, sure you can get a taylor approximation etc but now its hard to calculate by hand so we are going in circles. So the point of solving it this way is just an added challenge and my point is you shouldn’t solve differential equations in general this way as it doesn’t really have a meaning.

seems like you dont know what it means to solve differential equation. you never leave y as it is. How come you say this is an easy question when you dont know how to solve it smh

@@iqtrainerleaving it as ln(y) - y = x^2 /2 + C is good enough. That family of equations solves the differential equation And I never said I couldn’t get it in terms of y, that’s piss easy as well. It’s just not needed
