I bought the LG which was more than I normally would have spent. I wanted the steel inside and out. I am very happy with my choice. I like the idea that the spokes that be placed down to fit large items. The upper shelf may be lowered if you want to just do a small load. Everything comes out sparkling clean. It is also very quiet. It took a little time to get use to the control panel because it is very lightly labeled. I also like the idea of controlling the length of washing - after I used it a few weeks I am not confident. Cleaning and removing the inside catcher is the same as the Bosch. Very simple. The delivery and installation brought the price of to almost $800. My GE dishwasher that I loved and it lasted 10 years had the rubber gasket in front go. It was to much to take door off and replace for me and my dishes weren't getting as clean as they should have. Hope this one last for 10 years - I'd be happy. This was an excellent video - thank you.

Bosch Dishwashers? All kidding aside, worst god damn dishwasher I have ever owned and I'm 67. On AVERAGE 1/3 of dishes do not get clean, regardless of how or where they are positioned...after six month of practice you can still count on rewashing 1/3! Second, NOTHING fits! There are too many tines, all going different directs, all slanted and too close together. Seriously, after paying a grand, my wife wants it out and back to our old $400 Whirlpool. The Whirlpool Quiet Partner out performs, easier to load, etc. Tines are all vertical and in simple rows and widely spaced...makes it a breeze to load. ONLY advantage, it is quiet...I've heard that if you buy one your eligible to get a "SAP" tattoo across your forehead! Glad to see someone has had success; have had mine for over six months, tried EVERYTHING, just unloaded, a typical load...RESULT: 5 Bowls, 1 Spoon, 1 Cup, and 2 Plates have to be rewashed, i.e. HANDWASHED...that's about average! I'd show a picture/video if I knew how. I know it looks good, but bottom line...at least the 500 series…SUCKS.

NOTE: 2 months from original post and my sentiments have not changed. If I gave scores (0-10) it would be Quiet 10; Cleaning 6; Cycle Length 6; Loading 3...Value for Cost 3; Headaches 9. NOTE: What Bosch has done is design Dishes to fit their Dishwasher INSTEAD of the reverse...so you buy your dishwasher THEN find dishes that fit!
