with the slow swing speed he should be hitting a 40 to 50 gram Sr. shaft and he probably hit it even farther. I have noticed all the Brits seem to put people in to stiff of a shaft. I am the same size as Pete and I am 67 years old and I hit a Fujukura 40 gram sr. shaft around 230 yards. I hit the regular shaft around 215.

Well done Pete for taking the scrutiny, it can’t be easy playing the shot under the eye of the camera and the pro and the future watching thousands ,editing by Elvis or not, I must say that Calloway sounded solid, and the grouping was great, also gaining another ten per cent must give your confidence a big boost, I must now give a well done to Liam, then book myself in for a fitting,top videos,thanks again brilliant entertainment.Tim in lanzarote

I can't wait to see EBay Pete on the course! I know when I changed over to a 13° Yonex 3 wood, I did lose a few yards, but I gained much more accuracy. The course that I played was about 7000 yards from the back tees, and I went from a 9 handicapped down to a 3, and I even broke par a few times! I know just changing to a 3 wood gave me a lot more confidence off the tee box, which helped my confidence in other parts of my game!

Great video. Surprised though that the fitter didn't try Pete in the Titelist TSR1. It's made for people with slower swing speeds so could be ideal for Pete.

Sorry but how was that a fitting? Tried 4 drivers straight off shelf and hit 5 shots with each and picked one that went furthest! Didn't even try a different shaft in any of them.

Huge gain. Well done. If I was in the UK I'd be going for that fitting like a shot. 50 pounds is well worth it, even if it was just to tweak my existing driver to the best setting.
