I've been following you for years, Stephanie. You are still one of my favorites. Many influencers are really annoying with their attention-grabbing tactics and glopped-on makeup, but you just power on, giving us great advice, great content, and no drama.

THANKS for bringing us your experience(s) on more affordable drug store options, love to hear your feedback on how a lot of these products work, or don’t, for you & agree with other comments that you don’t have us listening to all the “blah-blah” before you start letting us know about the products 👍 I’ve tried & agree with pretty much all of your suggestions that also work for my dry, mature skin in my early 60’s. I’ve learned with the pencils that need sharpening, which I like, sharpen btr when put in the freezer first, (maybe around 15mins or so), seems to me that they just sharpen crisper in my experience/opinion. Blessings on your forward journey & thanks again for sharing more affordable options!!

The Physicians formula setting powder does have micro fine glitter particles in it , it's something to keep in mind just in case you don't want to emphasize skin texture.

Yes!! Those physicians formula powders are better than my hourglass. I use them over HG. I have oily skin and they just softly blur soft focused the skin. It’s stunning.

I only use the age rewind as a true concealer to cover up blemishes or spots on my face. I never use it under my eye. It’s a holy grail using it that way.

Very interesting! About 18 months ago read an article in Vogue or Vanity Fair, about how retinoids were going to be added to body lotion-for instance for arms and legs- in high enough concentration to encourage the exfoliation. Gentler than a sunburn I would imagine.. and that some were trying their own concoctions-a DIY kinda thing.

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your recommendations. i am a brown skinned in my late 40s. Please recommend some products for our skin type as well. Also, I absolutely LOVE your soothing & calm voice. Sometimes when I cant sleeps, I just listen to your videos & my family often hears your voice along my snores. Recently I just ordered HG Veil tint as I just want something that give me natural finesse look. Like my skin but much better type products. I also use PUR 4 in 1 tinted moisturizer SPF 20 but something's amiss even tho its a great match & amazon has 10,000 plus reviews. Please try & review that versus Saie Slip Tint.

Its not the color she is really reviewing. All what she is saying is for alll ethics. She just happens to buy the color that fits her color. But all the tools she says you can use too in your shade. I hope this isn’t offensive. Im also brown skinned. I use her tools just listen to her tips an use in my own color.thats why she mentions shade rages. If You mean products for just brown skinned that might be a little difficult lol one cant change their color unfortunately. Im just HAPPY THAT these companies have listened an started adding alot more shades for the darkest skin types. I recall almost adding paint to the darkest tan i could locate lol

The Physicians Formula glow powder is actually super shiny. I have exceptionally dry skin and live in a frigid climate. When I wore this, it looked like I was sweating. My husband even asked me if I was ok!

Thanks for sharing budget friendly beats! I have the essence eye liner and love them. However I need a recommendation for a good sharpener. And they neither sharpen these pencils well. Thank you.

I wear the "normal-to-dry" version of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair moisturizer and ADORE it. There's a richer, much thicker one (Lipikar Triple Repair) that I use on my body, but I've also mixed it 50:50 with the lotion when I've been in the cold wind and my skin feels parched. It leaves me super hydrated, but not greasy. Another wonderful product from this line that I've been using almost exclusively is the Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. I wash with it after I've taken all my makeup off with a balm, and my-oh-my, my skin feels to soft and comfortable---clean, but not stripped or tight. I use it in the morning as well, with a bit of warm water. I really love these 3 products. They are not expensive, but still, I wait until CVS has BOGO 50% off or some other good offer so I can buy my backups.

I love the waterproof mascara from wet n wild !!! I left the house with a full beat on and forgot lashes. I stopped into Walgreens and bought the cheapest mascara i could find. $3.29 well spent! I keep it in my cosmetic bag at work for when i need it. And bought another for home!

I'm loving the Maybelline serum foundation, W n W photo focus powder, Revlon blushes and the PF butter concealer. I use failed lipstick colors for cream blush. I wear glasses, so I don't fuss with shadow much. I like the ELF sticks for one and done. I live in a climate much like yours. ❤

I love the L'oreal foundation, the Maybelline eyeshadows, and the Hard Candy eyeshadow sticks. I have the Pony one and use it as eyeliner on my bottom lids. It's so pretty and subtle.

I didn’t like the Pacifica concealer on me, it creased too much and no shade match either. Have you tried the Live Tinted concealer? It’s very nice and hydrating and a little goes a long way!

I am currently using the Maybelline age rewind for the first time in my life and I love it on my oily skin. I use the "shade" neutralizer and have still to find my shade but I really like it! So happy to see someone still talking about it!

A new product to me this year is Milani’s Erase Base blemish control primer. I am 70 years young. You would think I would have dry skin. I do not. I have battled oil breakthrough with foundations for years, so for now, I am done experimenting with foundations. I am currently experimenting with SPF foundation with this product on top of it. Pleased to report so far so good. Less oil! Thank you for all your great presentations!

I share your oily skin difficulties (age 62) Everyone talks about ‘mature’ skin as dry skin. But there are still women with oily skin over 50! I am going to try that Milani primer, thank you.😊

I have used the Essence blush in the berry color. It is very pigmented. I also tried the lottie london mascara & it is very good! I was very pleasantly surprised as I have never tried anything from this brand. I will have to try their lip products.

Great posts. Nice to see mature recommendations. Just a tiny request... you probably don't even realize you are doing it... but can you speak more conversational instead of the lilt at the end of each statement? It's like riding a rollercoaster when you go up the bump lol and I like to listen to your videos back to back so that sing song way of talking really stands out and then I just have to switch channels. No disrespect but just an observation.
