Too much fruits like pineapples or kiwis will actually make the beef mushy, not tender. This is a simple and easy yet the best marinade for Korean bbq beef short ribs and I will also show you how to cook Galbi at home on a frying pan.

Marinade
1 can Milkis original (250ml)

2 Tbsp minced garlic
: I use pre minced garlic for connivence.

1/4 ~1/2 tsp baking soda
4 Tbsp brown sugar (packed)
4 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tap sesame oil

4.5~4.6lb beef short rib slices

Costco sells this beef at $9.99 / lb whereas H mart sells at $12.99 /lb.
Costco doesn’t trim fat so I need to trim it while H mart trims fat better.
