Super happy to have found this company and have the chance to try such amazing products!
I have a few extruders for polymer clay and I've been avoiding working with them for so long!... because they are not easy to work with and hurt my hands...
I love to make polymer clay canes and create patterns and I'm super excited because now I have the perfect tool to do it!

A very impressive tool indeed. I tend to watch others model clay rather than do it myself because of health issues causing pain in my hands (even before I start using them). This tool would be wonderful for someone like me, but I feel I'd have to use it a lot in order to justify the expense, plus the expense of the stand & amazing disks. That said, it would certainly allow far more productivity & creativity for someone who uses it a lot by taking out the manual labour, & letting them focus more on design & construction. I hope this helps you enjoy making clay (for us LOL) again. :)

Hi Joanne!😀 I’m sure you would love it! Even without the base is super easy to extrude the clay without effort. And, if you have disks from other extruders you might use them. The Lucy clay disks are compatible with other extruders. I have disks from my previous extruders that I’m going to use with the Czextruder. Yesterday I was organizing my supplies and I found a set of Sculpey III (clay)... it was new and I have it for more than 2 years. I thought that it should be super dry and impossible to work...I never used it because it’s not an easy clay to find here where I live. I tried it and it was super super smooth. I have no idea if this is a characteristic of this clay or if I was very lucky... because if it is it would be a great clay for you to have fun! Is super easy to condition. I’m very impressed! Today I went to some stores to see if I could find it but was impossible... I can only find Fimo. I’m gonna try online stores because now I’m very curious about sculpey clay.

Thanks for replying Sandra. I understand how difficult it can be to get craft supplies - they're always either unavailable here, or priced at 10 x their value because somebody saw an opportunity for profit. I get envious of all the cheap craft supplies that other parts of the world have access to. I'd been buying my sewing fabrics from USA for some years now, at less than half the price & small jewellery findings etc from China (on ebay) at a fraction of the cost here. That must be quite commonplace now, because our Government just created a new tax on any items (under $1,000) bought outside of Australia. They obviously care more about people like me buying $20 Pebeo watercolours & $1 paintbrush sets online than they do about the rich people shipping cars, jewels, furs & drugs over $1,000 LOL Yes, I believe that's a big characteristic of Sculpey III; I had heard from someone else that it could be good for my hands, as it is softer & more pliable than other clays. Then later, thefrugalcrafter (Lindsay Weirich) said on her channel that she uses Sculpey III when she models clay, because her hands are always cold & she can't work other clays well enough to warm them thru & this one doesn't require much working at all. She also said that this can make it more fragile than some other clays, so you have to be sure to pick the right clay for the right job. I'm sure you have more than enough experience to do that :)

I made a tour on all the local stores I could find around here and it’s impossible to find other brands...only Fimo....I live very close to France and I use to look there as well. I saw at the site of one of those stores that they had Sculpey Premo... France here I go!... I’m in the store and what do I find?!... nothing but Fimo!.... That was frustrating!... The same happens here with the prices... I don’t understand how, being so close to Germany (that’s where Fimo is produced) prices can be so high.... I also saw a video from PolymerClayTutor and she wasn’t very happy with the Sculpey III and pointed the same problems... I found an online store that sells Premo and I’m gonna give it a try. I’ve been using Fimo all my life but, because it’s so soft, is not the ideal clay to make the canes... it’s ok for small canes but not for something more elaborate...
