I think how Gotenks' Active skill works is like HIS 4th turn after Transforming can be activated. This includes the turn in which he transforms. So when he transforms, you need to wait 3 more turns, which happens when you float him off on his 1st turn or you wait 2 rotations/4 turns.

Truth, as a global player - Kefla is still better, not by miles like before, but lets just say Kefla is finishing the 400m dash before Gotenks gets to 100m. It is easier to activate Kefla's "top potential" over the heavy RNG here with Gotenks.

gotenks and kefla are basically equally as good, the difference is so small it doesn't really matter , they both are a tiny bit better at different things Edit: nvm, after watching the video kefla seems better, she does 10 mil more dmg and can do 4 supers, and she transforms faster and her defense is higher

When i read his passives i thought that ssj3 gotenks would climb to a much higher attack stat. My expectations were like 20-25 million at start. But he's still great.

About that 1 turn sa buff for base gotenks I think they did that to give base gotenks a slight buff but because he doesn’t get that 50% in super saiyan they didn’t want to make it seem like a downgrade in a sense. With most passive transformations they want to make sure that the transformed state is always an upgraded form of base in every area.

As a global player, from what I saw here, Gotenks deals way less damage, around 3 to 5 M less, but has crits in the build and stuns. Defensively, he his better, numbers are similar, but the extra dodge after dodge and the fact that he is int, helps a lot. Lastly, since the 3rd transformation is hp restricted, even with healing, if you are unlucky you might miss his transformation (I sometimes can't transform vegeta with his 18%) and kefla is simpler and easier.

The sad part about watching every Truth videos, its that he comes up with a argument on the beginning of a week and he will repeat it for the rest of it 😭😭

His additional dodge chance only procs once per turn with "+10% within the same turn after evading an attack" its not the same as Hirudegarns or Janembas "+10% within the same turn with each attack evaded" but the question is whether it adds to his great chance to dodge or is a seperate additional 20%.

I think the correct way to define the trasformation is that he trasforms on his 3rd turn as super saiyan, but being floated maybe the game counts its 2nd appearance as the 3rd one cause he went over 2 turns, if it makes sense (stupid condition anyways)

It's not written wrong. The turn you transform is turn 1, if u float him, turn 2 and 3 pass, and you get him back on turn 4, so he can transform

I feel like, since most Dual Dokkan Fests(that aren’t during Anni) are in a Super v. Extreme format, then for characters that released during DDFs, BOTH characters should EZA, as well as having sub-EZAs that fit both characters and their respective teams. But hey, that’s just me 😂

This Gotenks is strong but he's like the defensive version of Kefla while Kefla dominates offensively and it's solid defensively.

I was honestly expecting slightly more dmg, but in ssj3 he hits like Kefla once transformed into ssj, I do like how his stuff are free, but Kefla might still be number 1. Either way this is a great eza

I think the defensive buff on super on base form is worded like that so that even if he's in slot 3 and transforms immediately, he can still have an extra defensive buff to make up for missing the sa defensive stack in base. Would it work like that though?

Gotenks isn't as explosive as Kefla can be but I'd rather run him as he has much better relevant linking partners than her and no orb restrictions.

The condition isn’t written wrong it’s just confusing. Same way agl vegito’s last turn with guard is his 4th turn from start of turn, this gotenks can turn ss3 on the 4th turn from start of turn of turning ss1

As a Global player who has used Kefla, I think that these two are pretty neck-to-neck in terms of power with Kefla having a slight advantage over Gotenks. One massive advantage Kefla has over Gotenks is that her transformation is much easier to do as it's just a turn restriction whereas Gotenks has an additional HP condition. That alone will allow Kefla to enter her peak more often than Gotenks. Secondly, Kefla is also much better than Gotenks offensively and defensively. Offensive was always going to be Kefla's strong suit since she stacks her attack, but her defense is also stronger since unlike Gotenks who only has 300% defense and relies on getting multiple stacks from his Super Attack effect, Kefla gets multiplicative defense in her passive. In SSJ2 and with two ki spheres, she gets 824% defense. That's way more than Gotenks, and she still gets 30% more thanks to her Super Attack effect. Sure, she may have a slightly lower dodge chance, but I think the extra defense makes up for it. It'll at least help her against normals. The only area where you can argue that Gotenks is better in is that he's easier to deal with RNG wise. Both of them are RNG dependent, but Kefla more so because her RNG is orb related. An orb changer helps her significantly, but all that does is lessen her RNG as the orb changer can become a fraud and not supply Kefla with the orbs she needs.

Why are the active skills always so loud? You reduce loudness because the active is so loud, after that adjust the sound again because you cant hear Truth. Would be great in he adjust it so it is always balanced in loudness.

I think Kefla is a little better, because of her multiplicative DEF buff she gets on Super, and she can Get more DEF on her Supers than Gotenks, Since she can do 4, Gotenks don't have a multiplicative DEF buff

So with gotenks transformation condition to ss3 Turn 1 you float Turn 2 other rotation Turn 3 previous rotation Turn 4 other totation, gotenks is back
