Hey Hank! I imagine it throws exactly like a spy bait, but looks like it stays on the surface depending on your retrieve. Really cool bait. I have seen these for a while, but have not got one yet. I think I have every other bait, so might as well add this to the arsenal. LOL

I’ve had the 009 in my box for about 3 yrs and only cast it 2-3 times and threw it back. I think I’m gonna try it before it gets too cold. I’ve seen a few fishermen reluctantly talk about the 007

@@BassGeek me too man! They don't sell those here in Canada anymore, and it's too expensive to import them. I'm crazy trying to find them and also the Jackall Piku Piku.
Ive looked at these things before but they didn't make the priority list at the time. Def worth a second look for next season. It may well be too cold in east TN by the time it takes that tw order to make its way here 😂
That looks like a winner. I love poppers but these are a little different and they look fun to fish. I’m glad you’re back on the water. I was wondering if you had any luck with the rod you bought that had the eyelets circling the blank. We’re there any advantages?
I got a few in both sizes. My main lake is a bluegill lake and stained. You still like these in that scenario? Also I'm getting into 25 degree nights but then sunny days up to high 40s. What constitutes a good top water scenario this late for us Yankees or are we done? Last few times out only catching little guys on bottom finesse like shakey and ned rig. And those bites are getting few and far between.
Top water is probably done in that water temp however if you get a few days of warm weather it can come back. They make a gill color and it’s good around wood for largemouth
I've never seen one of those types of lures before but I'm always on the hunt for new topwater techniques. Got water temps in the high 30s here so the season is pretty much done but is that an effective spring lure too? Cuz I will order some over the winter
