Born the same year as Xavi, and i get the hype around him he was great and all, but i think he is massivly overrated. Was never the player to play top football so many years like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldo, Zidane and others.

Damn good list. I would have replaced 1980 Xavi for Ronaldinho. Xavi had longevity but Ronaldinho was better in his prime and a Ballon D'or winner. Also, 1991, I prefer De Bruyne over Griezmann any day
Depending.... In 1980 xavi was more regular, was the best tactical player probably of history, but ronaldinho was talent. Hazard and griezmann are `young' but griezmann has made more in his career. Scholes was also a great player and can be compared to del piero. The rest im agree

In my opinion Ronaldinho is probably alongside Messi, Pelé, Maradona, Ronaldo Nazario, Cruyff, Zidane... in matters of talent. If there is a recognition he should get, it is definitely as "the dumbest player ever". He is the player who has wasted one of the biggest talents ever. Xavi had a way more consistent career, winning great great throphies, which is why I think he takes the spot. And come on, if you saw Xavi play, you would understand this right away. But yes, it is very sad for Ronaldinho to not get the recognition he could have earned, but at the end of the day it is his own fault, he was the one who took the decisions in his life.
