Was just at Big Bend. Back country permit was $10 per night, not $10 for up to 14 days. Camping was allowed only in designated areas that required reservations.
@Campendium
@Campendium 2 года назад
Yep! $10/night and visitors can stay in the park up to 14 consecutive nights in either a front or backcountry site, with a limit of 28 total nights in the park in a calendar year. Campers can occupy a specific site up to 14 total nights in a year. During the busy season of January 1-April 15, visitors are limited to a total of 14 nights in the park. Happy camping! - Liz

@@Campendium that's confusing. Is it 28 days or 14. Which is it. You said total 14 days then 28 days

The Amarillo travel visitor center is the best place to sleep 😴 when your at the half way point to Colorado! Restrooms are so clean, & close to the highway but not too much noise.

Wish we never allowed people to buy land remotely near any sort of shore, all I want to do is kayak or paddle through rivers like Guadalupe and just camp on the shore but hey impossible now I guess.

I have a 40 ft motorhome and it is set up to go 2 weeks with no hook-up, every thing is 12 volt with 1800 watts of solar so we do not like rv parks Big Bend is just a wast of space they need more places to just park for the night boondock what little spots they do have is all full JUST A BIG WASTE OF OUR PARK and $10 a night is not bad

@@mikerilling2745 Arizona has better looking women, less fat people, more public land, legal weed, more lenient gun laws, we aren’t owned by one energy grid that dies every summer and winter, mountains, dry weather, more diverse landscape, and less crazy people. Less crime, less murders per capita, so don’t get arrogant lol

I believe the Davy Crockett quote is “you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas.” Just a joke :)
@RoySATX
@RoySATX Год назад
Us Texans are known for our friendly and easygoing nature, and our willingness to help out. We love having people visit! Set foot in Texas with a nasty attitude, however, or be disrespectful of our people or our land and we'll be mighty happy to give you a hand back out the same way you came. We still have manners, Mr. Jackman, and we use them out of respect when visiting someone else's house. If this is beyond your ability you might do us all a favor and stay home.
