Pau is pronouced "pô" and I live 40 mins from that city so I saw some F3 and clio cup races there and its pretty cool.

The Andes are in South America. Those mountains are the Pyrenees. I think that particular heritage railway featured on a news story here recently. I'm pretty sure these F3 cars are a good bit wider than the 1.5-liter F1 cars. It's just that the track looks narrower with the guardrails in place as opposed to when they weren't there. I'm pretty sure those "pavements" would be the sidewalks. I'm guessing that Macau and Long Beach were on that list of street circuit. But without knowing what, for instance, in F1, counts as a street circuit these days, well... In terms of modern street circuits, but maybe ones that aren't currently used, Toronto is quite decent, as is St. Petersburg (Florida). Vancouver, either 1995-97 or 1999-04, was very good. The airport circuit at Cleveland was excellent. The 2006-07 version of San Jose was simple but reasonable for racing. I really wished the 2007 Las Vegas street circuit that ChampCar used could have lasted longer. The Sao Paulo IndyCar circuit (2010-13) was good; having that whacking great 0.9-mile straight certainly helped. And yeah, there are probably at least a few others, but that seems like a decent list to start with.

I realised my mistake after I had uploaded it so I was hoping nobody would notice that small mistake 😂 Yes it did, I am a volunteer there & it is a serious issue, plus getting more volunteers in is another big issue, It was nice to see my work being featured so prominently though. The Locomotive named "Fenchurch" is a project I was involved in for the past year as part of its overhaul. Don't get me started...It's pavement not "sidewalk"😉 Long Beach was 4th & Macau was 2nd. If I made that list I wouldn't have put Macau that high considering Pau was 9th.

The point with the curbs/sidewalks was more that, on any of the classic versions of these tracks (Pau, Monaco, etc.), you're going to have those to avoid. Now, I can see there being some variation in how obtrusive they are from circuit to circuit. And of course, AC's selection of these tracks is a bit limited. I mean, we don't have Nice, Orleans, or Antibes in Frances, or Torino, Milano, or Bergamo in Italy in AC. (At least we have Napoli, courtesy of Italotracks, who are also supposed to be working on Pescara and Montenero.) As far as that ranking goes, yeah, Monaco gets #1 on sheer notoriety. For me, at the top of the list, I kind of feel like saying that Macau and Vila Real can duke it out, and then Pau and Monaco can do the same for #3. I'm leaning more into which tracks are more interesting in themselves, rather than their racing potential as much. I'm trying to leave out public road circuits like Bathurst or Le Mans, and restrict myself to active circuits. So a Top 10 list gets kind of tricky in a hurry. I suppose, on the interesting front, and being meant for top-tier cars, Baku may well slot in at #5. The changes for Singapore this year simplify but improve the layout, I think. I'm also trying to stay away from the parkland circuits; otherwise, Montreal and Melbourne would have a pretty unfair advantage. Thinking about it, for its length, Newcastle for the Aussie Supercars is really quite good. (I'd actually like someone to do for AC an idealized layout of Newcastle, using more of the Esplanade to create something more expansive and flowing. Likewise, I think an idealized version of the 2013-14 FIA GT Baku street circuit would be fast and pretty fun.) I'm really curious to see what the new-for-2024 Nashville street circuit layout will be like for IndyCar, but we'll just have to wait and see on that one. I think Long Beach was better when it had the longer, uninterrupted backstretch (1992-99). And I don't know, Toronto certainly isn't bad, but I'm not sure how much it really stands out. So St Petersburg does pretty well among the North American street circuits.
