Tried this product about a year ago when Scotty first uploaded this video. Ordered the gas treatment and the oil additive, and this stuff actually works pretty damned good. Used the fuel system cleaner and the oil treatment on my 2001 Pathfinder with 243,000 miles, and after running the fuel additive through a full tank of gas, my mileage went from 16.5 mpg to 18 mpg. Ran the oil treatment when I changed my Oil, and after 2,000 miles I did my next oil change, and I couldn't believe how black and dirty the oil was. In my opinion, this stuff did a really good job of cleaning the sludge and carbon out of my motor, and I'd definitely use their product again!

So, you used the vehicle for 2000 miles after putting in the oil cleaner, maybe I read the instructions wrong I thought you were supposed to use high idle for ten minutes then do an oil change right then and there. I like your way a lot better so as the cleaner can get into every nook and cranny. I’m going have to email the company again; I emailed the first time because I asked if this was a one time treatment or did they have specific interval in mind. They wrote back stating both cleaners should be used every other oil change, to me personally that’s really expensive since both cleaners are 60.00 plus shipping. I used the fuel cleaner on a Jeep Cherokee 1999 with 316K and the gas mileage was better plus I think there less hesitation when I press the gas pedal.

If the oil additive separates carbon deposits from internal motor parts, then the oil additive is a solvent. And u don't want to leave an oil diluted with lots of solvent in an engine for more minutes than the instructions say (usually about 10 minutes). The oil additive also diminishes the motor oils' ability to do its 2nd most important thing (absorb and redistribute heat). So drain the oil 10 minutes after u pour in the additive (10 minutes after u let the engine run at idle). Turn off the engine, and let it cool for another 11 minutes so u don't burn fingers while unscrewing the oil plug. U don't need to extract every last drop of oil that still has trace amounts of the additive. Just don't use ANY more additive before the next time u change the oil (about 2000 miles) later. Then, when u change the oil weeks later, the trace amounts of the additive in the oil will be gone.

I don't use solvent engine flushes. I say, drain your oil, buy some cheap oil and let it fast idle for half hour, drain and refill with correct oil and change filter. Also, change oil every 5k

I followed Scotty's advice and tried this product, and it works as advertised... possibly better than advertised. This ATS fuel system cleaner made both of my Tundra V8 engines idle smoother, and accelerate crisper than before adding the cleaner.

I run a cup of pure naphtha every couple of months. Started using it on a carb engine and you can see the difference, so I'm confident it works on fuel injection.

I’ve used it once and I left it in for 300 miles it works very well because the peppermint oils re-lube seals and the solvent breaks a lot of carbon my oil was really dirty after.

I’m a little late to throw in my two cents but I’m here to see objective side by side product testing. Tools, workshop appliances, cleaning products, and so on. I had a code indicating there was a problem with the egr (exhaust gas circulator) valve. I bought some of the fuel system cleaner, and it cleared it right up. The car now runs so smooth, and it's a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan.

I like Marvel Mystery Oil. I mix it in my gas at 4 Oz per 10 gals of gas. I use it in my boat and I believe it works as a fuel stabilizer bc it stays in my gas tank 6 months during winter. When I crank it up in April or May it cranks right up. It’s been around since 1923 I believe. They used it in airplane fuel.

There is no marvel mystery oil in airplane fuel. 100LL (Low Lead) is extremely dry and evaporates rapidly leaving no residue. Your boat fires up after 6 months because you still had gas in the tank, and oil is millions of years old and it doesn't mind living another six months. The people who have trouble has poorly maintained fueling systems or the fuel contains ethanol or other nasties that cause varnish and corrosion.

NEVER use M.M.O. in your fuel!! I did. It's not made for modern cars with catalytic converters. Remember: MMO is an oil. Overuse will 100% ruin your catalytic converter. It did with mine. MMO is excellent for cleaning rusted parts and old rusted tools. Plus, it works great in your oil crankcase to soften up deposits and lubricate sensitive parts. Do NOT use MMO in modern engines with cats!! ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️

Marvel Mystery Oil is an automotive product of the American Marvel Oil Company,[1] founded by Burt Pierce in 1923.[2] It is used as a fuel additive and oil additive, purportedly to function as a corrosion inhibitor, penetrating oil, transmission leak stopper and seal relubricator, despite a lack of scientific evidence supporting such claims. Marvel Mystery Oil logo It is composed primarily of petroleum distillates, including mineral oil (60-100%), mineral spirits (10-30%), tricresyl phosphate (an antiwear and extreme pressure additive in lubricants, 0.1-1.0%), ortho-dichlorobenzene (a softening and removing agent for carbon-based contamination on metal surfaces, 0.1-1.0%), and para-dichlorobenzene (a precursor used in the production of chemically and thermally resistant polymers,

I've ALWAYS believed in additives! From carburetor/fuel injector cleaner, to octane booster, to putting old-school STP oil treatment in my '72 Ford F-100 Explorer pickup w/a 360 cubic inch motor, to Slick 50 in my granddad's '89 Crown Victoria LTD w/the 5.0 302 w/EFI, & I'm trying to figure out what'd be best for my 2005 Explorer XLT's 4.0L V6 engine... Any suggestions???

I used Rislone hy-per fuel injector cleaner Rislone has been around for 100 years now I used 15 different fuel injector cleaner and the only one that work was Rislone hy-per fuel injector cleaner

I don't know how much this stuff is but I use chemtool b-60 for cleaning really gumed up stuff that's been sitting a long time and b-12 for just regular cleaning and it's really cheap if you can find straight toululean or zylean that's good but it softens rubber

It does work I also use the oil treatment. After using the oil treatment my truck has 20 more pounds of oil pressure.

It would be good if someone had a car that can't pass emissions test to try this to see if it really works. I had an old Pathfinder that always failed emissions test but sold it. I put crappy cheap gas in it with no cleaners. I only put Chevron with Techron in my car and going on 14 years with no emission issues.

And then around like every 20,000 miles I do a Royal purple oil change but I do my oil changes every 4,000 miles and I do cheap oil. But I marked down and then when it gets up to the $20,000 after I've done about three or four wheel changes I'll do the purple and then that I will drive for about 5,000 MI. And I also get k&n oil filters sometimes not all the time. And then I also get canned and air filters and I do all my work to my car myself brake pads oil change coolant flush, power steering fluid brake fluid.
