When I learned that she has a healing mechanic, I thought I can replace Kokomi in my Ayaka Team as there is no subdps but as she needs a healer, plan wrecked. Can't slot Furina in any of my existing teams as I find her awkward.

Furina can replace characters as Kokomi or Mona on Permafrost Teams. About the Hydro Sub DPS Slot, it's clearly the same case of other characters, if there are characters with a similar role and even better on certain teams, another won't replace it at 100%. Ayato can replace Tartaglia on International but this one will always be a better option. Yae Miko has a higger Sub DPS than Fischl but she can help other Electro characters to recharge faster plus now Golden Troupe make her a monster, Fischl now can be on most of Yae teams. Similar cases may be: Pyro DPS (Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Diluc, Klee) Cryo DPS (Ayaka, Wriothesley, Ganyu) Hydro Sub DPS (Xingchiu, Furina, Yelan) etc. Now yes, Furina is better option than Xingchiu on Double-Hydro teams as Hu Tao, Neuvillete Hypercarry or Bloom. She got more DPR and yes, obviously sometimes the team gets different but imo it's funny to do >80k per CA with Furina Yelan and dropping Elemental RES with Jean which will drop Hydro RES as a Petra Archaic Zhongli. Sometimes it's funny to get out of the same teams we always use and Furina is perfect for that on teams as Quickbloom, Permafrost with Jean instead Kazuha, Neuvillete Hypercarry, Taser, etc.

​​@@XiahmiHimeYou can replace Kazuha for Jean on floor with medium/large enemies. It only changes about 28% difference between those two but Furina still gives u more dmg than Kokomi Kazuha

You know actually well said, that's exactly what she is. She doesn't replace anyone but is able to buff them (usually) if you decide to use her which is very cool of hoyoverse to be able to make a character like this.

C6 is the exception to this rule. Once team reaches 50%, Furina can take over as an on-field DPS in Pneuma state, where she also heals up the team with her hydro-infused normal attacks before switching back to off-field in Ousia state. That is, if the enemy can even survive those few hits since they deal 120k+ per hit with no other buffers or reactions. 800k+ per vape if you setup the team to maximize her damage.

kokomi is an amazing option for this, her burst is often up and heals your entire team and once kokomi overheals one unit, furinas talent comes into play, the amount of fanfare stacks you can gain in certain situations with that team is busted

@@NutellaCrepe you never leave ousia unless you wanna do the big hits for screenshots. Her ousia c6 is the stacking heal buff that allows her to cover the healer slot.

Still with pet dps better to have someone top off the whole team, I know its viable but her pets are so strong its always worth keeping them draining hp from everyone. With Neuvi alone hitting max fanfare is a breeze, but her pets have nothing to eat after 1st rotation. I'm sure there are some teams that make sense w/o healer, but for most part having a big party wide heal after every Furina burst just seems to complete her and too good to pass up.

About the teams, I said this in my video how the Furina team with charlotte and yelan or xinqui.. though you get a lot of damage you are now weaker due to furina’s HP drain. If you have a good charlotte though it shouldn’t be that big of an issue, but still an infinitely strong shield will be more comfortable. Leaving comfort aside the damage will be uhh pretty close maybe worse? if it was Jean I’d say higher (thought it’s not always the case) but its close. Double hydro with zhongli is a solid team, you shouldn’t be forced to make a new team.

@@radphnxis there not a way to keep Hutao below 50% so that we can deal the most damage with furina buff and hutao low hp buff. Hutao, xingqui, furina, bennet is my team and I always try to keep Hutao below 50 percent

No no, uhh I structured that wrong my bad. I primarily meant nahida and mona as pseudo healers because of prototype amber.

Yep in electrocharged or in quick bloom teams, id use her in quick bloom.

Sorta replaces kazuha but can also be used to super stack the buff

I know that Baizhu is ultra easy healer ( Press E and forget) But think about it that your team is a wasted potential because hydro characters in your team are not EM so Bloom is only to get extra stack of Neuvillette passive. I made team with Jean VV and Zhongli Petra (35% extra hydro dmg%) with real shield and -20% res not almost shield like Baizhu.

@@Peharion88 Yeah that is true I could probably run a Zhongli Jean comp but I think I'd rather have Kazuha for more dmg buffs and cc as I feel like that would outweigh the 20% res from Zhong as my Kazu has 1000em, C2 and Freedom Sworn, so Baizhu just fits the healer role better, If they ever came out with a pyro healer that complemented Neuv I would change for them in a heart beat, currently though my Neuv on this comp is no diffing floor 12 due to whaling + 75/300 crit hitting around 70 - 80K per tick of Beam

@jakewilson1511 I feel you . I also have Kazuha c2 with freedom sworn . But I save him for 2nd team cuz 35% elemental dmg from Archaic Petra is equal to Kazuha with 1166EM plus extra -20% RES

nilou is kinda redundant here, alhaitham alone with furina can mop the floor with any current abyss enemy. just stuff fishl, raiden or yae there instead

I think if you use Nilou you really need to lean into using her abilities to the max. I think Tighnari over Alhait makes more sense.

Bad combo. Furina doesn’t buff bloom so you are better off with xq or yelan. Doesn’t help that furina also applies less hydro

@@discreaminant cuz they keep releasing enemies that can't be pulled. Well ofc freeze can't function very well compare to others. But when there r only mobs. The only team that can outperform freeze is nilou bloom. They have no other choice but to nerf freeze team otherwise freeze team is just that broken.

On the matter of hydro application, I think I did mention how Furina's application will hinder elemental reactions if she's the solo there, I mentioned that for vaporize and even bloom and said how you would need double hydro for effective seeds/vapes and how not providing that hydro application changes the way the team will work. Regarding ER, you're right I should've mentioned the ER requirements changing considerably though honestly I wasn't having that hard of a time usually with even 170 ER which is what I'm running right now. You say that Furina is not a universal support as she's locked in with another hydro and a teamwide healer, I think you're exaggerating that a little bit like yes she WILL need a healer but isn't it cool that she can work with anyone just by adding a healer if the team already doesn't have one? @@radphnx not really work with everyone Yes she can make weaker teams like Klee carry or Noelle carry become viable, but that’s bcs those teams were so bad before, that putting any characters that do decent off field dmg + dmg bonus will make them decent, and for the Noelle carry team, ur abusing good off field dps like Yelan and Furina, combined with the fact a healer slot is saved by Noelle’s teamwide healer mechanism, so everything synergies with each other well But u don’t get this sort of synergy is other teams, yes u can forcefully put her + healer into older teams swapping 2 characters out, the outcome however won’t necessarily be an upgrade or even sidegrade, bcs 2 slots are a lot in a 4 slot team, ur always guaranteed to lose something in exchange for slightly higher dmg, bcs not many teams can help Furina fully stack her fanfare stacks, making an average 40% dmg bonus increase, which still looks good, but u need to consider those 2 characters u swapped out for Furina may be off field dps characters as well, or 2 buffers that will certainly buff more than 40% dmg bonus increase And you mentioned you only have 170ER on Furina, but try that stat when she’s single hydro in a team, and see if u can burst consistently, at least I couldn’t in my account, I need minimum 220 ER when she’s played as single hydro and 160 when she’s paired with Neuvillette and teammates had Fav I find it hard to make Furina bring improvements to already existing teams, there’s only a selected few teams that can actually expect improvement by putting her + healer in, namely 3. People pulled Furina with the expectation that she will be universal and bring improvement to their team dmg and gameplay experience, but the reality is she couldn’t do that until C2

I usually run fav weapons so maybe that's why I've not had a problem. You're exactly right in the last part, I saw a similar comment that said how Furina is very strong but she doesn't directly replace anyone, yes you can use her but it doesn't mean it'll be better due to the fact that as you said you need other chars to make it work.

@@radphnx and that’s a shame, bcs she’s been branded as hydro archon by Hoyo til end of 4.2 archon quest and built up so high expectation, and she couldn’t bring in as much impact as Nahida or Raiden did in terms of shifting the meta She didn’t really introduce anything new to the table, maybe we can expect better healers in future that provides more than just healing, I don’t really recommend anyone pulling for just a C0 Furina if they are expecting a game breaking character, just pull if u truly like the character

I wouldn't go that far.. I mean I think she's going to get better with future characters, but yes she's not a game breaking character but imo very unique in the way she changed teams.

I mean, Baizhu has gotten definitely stronger because of Furina but for example I'm not going to pulling for him as well yao yao is a really good alternate option which is what I'm going to do. It depends on you for the most part the archons are probably close so if you don't have them I'd probably save for Nahida or Ei whenever they come out.

Did u get Charlotte? Do you have Jean? Baizu certainly seems worth it, but unless you really want him or you're going for a specific team comp, there are other healers that can fill that role, you just want a strong party wide healer with sufficient ER to burst after Furina does. I got Jean built well and she is perfect, but will probably build Charlotte now for freeze healer and Yao Yao for dendro. If you already have other healers you like, I would save for more Fontanians like Navia and Clorinde (or archons) who are certain to work well with Furina.

If you want the upcoming characters then yeah.. Navia ,maybe ayaka, raiden etc coming in 4.3

You could possibly just have kokomi and run Nahida as your dendro character if you have her.. and you also have Jean so I'm not sure if Baizhu would be really worth it.

She is my best healer atm, rebuilt her VV set with fav sword and about 200% ER using ER sands, attack goblet for bigger heals, and crit rate circlet for particles, its super comfy, nearly 100% uptime on max fanfare, and the pets always got HP to eat.

Maybe if you have low ping.. if you noticed.. I always have 200 ping unfortunately..

Yao yao, qiqi and even bennet might be better picks. Charlotte needs 100% burst uptime or you can toss her out

I was running marechausse def sands geo goblet and crit dmg circlet but I must say my build was not ready so she was not performing how she should be.

It's a good replace instead of Baizhu on Furina/Cyno/Nahida since she can heal all the team with her Burst and get charges for Furina's Burst. But imo in most of the teams Jean is a great option

I would Recommend Running Furina, Noelle With Xingqiu+Fischl or Albedo but depends On Furina's ER (170 is Enough Especially With Fischl+Xingqiu)
