This would be the typical response from someone trying to justify there purchase!...I am looking too buy one yes,but with a background of competitive gaming and at present I've got a 32" 1440p 240hz monitor I'm wondering should I take the jump? I'm getting older now and find myself playing single player game and not so much interested in the competitive side anymore. Do I keep both?,but this is a lot of desk space and I could recoup some money selling my present monitor. But these comments of I've done this and I can't go back, REALLY!!..I know how good 240hz is but I'm just as good as 60hz..I have this thing called skill. The companies have this thing called marketing, which we all buy into(just be aware of it)
@@TheAtkinson118then take a LG C2 42” for 120hz 4K is just amazing. I switched from it to the Alienware because of the cap of 120fps. Really looking to the future for this QD Oled technology with 240 hz
@@michaelhawkins7389What you think about your S3422DWG monitor? I'm thinking about buying it, but I have an 1080p IPS 75hz ultrawide and I'm not sure if I'll like the change from IPS to VA.
There is a summer sale on Steam right now, I watched your video and I paused it at every game and ran to my Steam account to buy it. Thank you very much, this video was very informative and helpful. You should get a cut from all of them sales for advertising so well. Cheers
I HAVE to mention Outlast, RE2 Remake, Alien Isolation and NieR:Automata. Thanks for showing me ABZÛ. Instantly fell in love and yoinked it into my library :3
Phenomenal video. Favourite game is RDR2! I thought I tried out most of the popular titles but I've missed some, outta try them out. Would be awesome of you to make a list of classic/older PC games (Rayman The Great Escape, older Tomb Raider games etc) to see 21:9 on older titles. Subbed!
Fantastic round up with some outstanding gems showcased. Gotta say though there must be something wrong with your Horizon Zero Dawn setup. I'm also running a 3080 @ 3440x1440 but I rarely drop below 80fps everything maxed out. Only motion blur off.
Great choice of game's, just got my 34" ultrawide 1440 monitor today and the new system with a RTX4080super is on it's way, I can't wait to try them in ultrawide as I own most of these game's.
a good selection of games here, was a good review to find some good games to test on my new pc with my ultra wide. never even heard of the ascent and looking that up now as it looks like something I may enjoy. Thanks!
Amazing video m8, I am waiting for my new 34" ultrawide curved to be delivered and I also use a 3080. RDR2 def looks amazing, I may have to play thru it again but I'm also looking forward to seeing how AoE4 looks and plays.
Excellent list. I just put together a triple 1440P monitor setup and also have a 3080. I have Nvidia surround set to 7680x1440 which sounds like a fake resolution but to my surprise the games I've tested so far ran well. I had to turn down a few settings in a few and use DLSS when available in others but it's an amazing experience. The only issue is Vram. I have the 10gb version and in certain games, I'm pretty much hitting the limit.
my Ultrawide 3440x1440 nano ips from LG stopped working, and i bought G7 in 32" so i don't own ultrawide anymore yet, i'm still searching for " the best games to play in ultrawide" lol thanks for the video
Nice recommendations❤ I just have one doubt about the aspect ratio. I dont have ultrawide monitor but i have shifted to 3 monitor setup for gaming and aspect ratio is 32:9 something.. Will i be getting the same experience as a good ultrawide monitor
I'd recommend for everyone to play Borderlands 3, it's literally PERFECT for ultrawide monitors, a lot of destruction, enemies, weapons, i just can't tell you how good is this, you have to try it by yourself. I recommend to get it on epic games. On RTX 3080 Ti you can get like, 100+ fps on max settings(but i don't actually recommend using max settings, even at the lowest settings, not counting the resolution, the game is still beautiful).
i dont have ultrawide monitor yet but mostly i play games with ultrawide resolution(with black bar in corner) but hey. thanks to VR headset now i can play in better ultrawide experience in virtual monitor😂
@@RegulusSauce gotcha, makes sense, those fps counts seemed relatively low to what I get with the same gpu. I just upgraded to an Ultrawide and it’s in the mail, I’d imagine a 20 percent decrease in fps on average pushing higher resolutions but nowhere near the #’s you’re getting in this vid
Can you showcase what does Dead By Daylight look like in 21:9 aspect ratio? Also I have a TV that includes that option, I'm currently gaming on 16:9 aspect ratio but I'm tempted to try out 21:9 on my TV. Do you reckon I should go for the switch or not?
@@Marmalade_ That really sucks, I mean RE8 is available for PC with 21:9 aspect ratio, why can't it be available for consoles, a lot of people use their monitors to play with consoles. Too bad.
LOL, been watching all these ultra wide monitor videos the last few days trying to decided between getting a 32" 4K monitor or the LG 38GN950-B monitor. If I could literally see them side by side in real life I'd know within a minute, but cause I have no experience with wide monitors It's all guess work. Not sure I wanna give up the 4K which is what I'm used too, ah well I'll keep watching/reading reviews for now.
ждём разрешения 51:9, чтобы в зоне видимости была только полоса как в рыцарском шлеме, длиной во всю комнату. купи монитор 42 дюйма в 4к и угол обзора поменяй на 120- будет даже лучше зона видимости сверху и снизу
COnsidering upgrading my GPU. At the moment, prices are improving but still expensive. A 3080 12GB is £750. 10gb version is 700 and 3070TI is 650 so it seems like it is worth stretching to the 12gb model. the 3080 TI is £1050 so that is too big a jump from the 12gb model for the 5% performance gain it brings. It's a little disappointing that these cards only give 50-80 fps in some games. I would have expected to be hitting 144hz stable. Such a pity to have to drop to lower settings with such a card
Dude I'm getting triggered, if you would be so kind to not call Fantasy games as RPG? RPG games are Deus-Ex, New Vegas, Baldurs Gate etc. Not like Skyrim. It means that you can create a character/world with your decisions, not playing in a fantasy world that you have no control over, I love your videos nonetheless, keep the good work up. Just give Deus-Ex a try.
