The Best GAN CUBE in 2023 

I remember thinking $50 was a ridiculous price for a speedcube

I definitely prefer cubes with a scratchy feel: 1) Because I know that scratchiness will eventually go away. 2) It means the cube was not pre-lubed; so I don't have to clean the gunk out before putting in my own preferred lube.

one thing that I liked about having gan 14 is it made me practice accurate turning and now I got better times with it

I like the 13 because it feels smooth, feels blocky and has good auto alignment and magnet strength. Fun Fact: I use the strongest magnet strengths and weakest tensions even though I like turning fast.

Yup - GAN 12 (MagLev UV) is my main as well, and I also have 11m Pro, 13 (MagLev UV) and 14 (MagLev UV) as well. I just finished doing some 200-odd solves with each, AFTER dialing them in to my current preferences, setup with lube - and even so, the 12 wins hands down. However, it was a very close run between this and the 14. So my ranking is: 1) GAN 12. Because it's fast and corner cuts great, and has the by far best auto homing of all cubes. Only the Tornado V3 Pioneer comes close. 2) This should be a shared spot between 11m Pro and 14, but due to the 11m Pro being SO much cheaper, the 11m Pro wins. 3) ... and thus, we see 14 on the third place 4) GAN 13. Because it's so very odd, and no matter which combos of settings and lubes I've tried (and oh boy have I tried a lot), it always feels like it's too fast and too slow at the same time. Which is very odd, but it is what it is.

I'd probably swap the 11m pro and the 13 in my list. I really do like the 12, it grew on me ever since I bought the 12 free play Bluetooth cube and before that my last main gan cube was the 11M pro which was extremely solid. I still use the WRM v9 as my main but if I had a gan 12 instead, I would be comfortable in saying that I could get the same times.

I'm so happy, I just bought a Gan 12 Maglev. And I saw Gan were already so far ahead that they had come out with a 14 Maglev. I thought I waas really behind in terms of cube tech so I was on the edge of buying it before I saw this video. Thanks Alot

I didn't put lube in my Gan 13 maglev cus my dad said that it was a waste of money and now my Gan 13 can't even corner cut 45 degrees. It also locks up alottttt. Also my gan 13 case magnets kept falling off and I ended up having to super glue them

not sure abt the newer gan cubes but the gan air UM is by far the best cube ive ever touched.

The 14 is out at SCS because I spent $100.00 on the Cosmic 14 maglev UV. I have to say the 12 is the best out of all the above mentioned cubes which I own.

In my opinion, 13 is better than 14 the reason is not only the price, 13 is better than 14 cause for me I don’t like too many magnets cause it just makes the cube turns by itself, I don’t really like how it only control by itself. Other than that ofc the price, I don’t like the price for Gan 14, it’s great though but if Gan make 14 cheaper I would definitely buy it. So if you wanna buy a cheaper cube you could either buy 12 or 13, Gan 11 is also good so I recommend to buy it.

2:31 for the gan 11 GES doesn’t 1 stand for the least amount of corner cutting? I have the Gan skewb which has the same GES system and setting 4 pops more than setting 1

The coolest 354M in my collection. I don't know what else could be better. I want to try Maglev14. But the price is too high for me and I am not sure that I will feel a significant difference.

The Gan 14 can actually be really good if you set it up properly. If you can get it to be a bit more slower, it can be a fantastic cube. The price doesn't justify though. It's just plastic and magnets. How is that worth $60?

I had a 356 and 10 but was looking for an upgrade. Almost every videos i came across says GAN12 was the best so that is the one i chose. I wanted a maglev feeling.

I don’t agree

I think the 12 is super overrated. The 13 is better to me in almost every way The 12 I got definitely had that catching issue. It feels like there is too much in the middle of the cube and I got the frosted version and the plastic is very thin.
