hey man big fan watched you when you made trick shots still watch you all the time you should do a golf trick shot vid also it would be epic if you checked out our channel we are doing a golf trick shot vid soon. also nice job geting to to 400k watched you when you had 20k.
Came to say this same thing lol... we've all been there. No better golf than free golf. Although now that I'm an "adult" with a kid my sneaking in days are sadly few.
This is what i have been waiting for....Garret losing the "go for it mentality" and playing smarter. Love it. If he can do this, Tig is in big trouble.
i want to see all the good good guys getting these lessons. like imagine when we get to the good good masters and it’s like super competitive with really good golf play. i’d love to see that
I love how quantitative Brian is explaining everything, especially the yardage adjustments with the wind. If you're making decisions without numbers, you're really just guessing.
This is the ultimate way to take a golf lesson! It’s not just about hitting the ball, but understanding what needs to be done to make the correct assessment for the next stroke. Loved watching this one!
For the closeness to the ball deal and not transferring the same set up from range to play I started doing the exact same routine i do on the course on the range. Same tempo, same exact ritual. Always standing behind the ball looking at my target and making two practice swings. Helped me tremendously. You wont be able to hit as many practice balls but i feel like it is really beneficial.
More of this content!! It’s fun watching you get better and learn but it also helps us weekend golfers understand how we should be thinking about every shot.
I am so happy for you Garrett, because everyone needs a coach that knows what they are doing AND very good at explaining what they need you to understand. After a year or so, all these things he's telling you will become instinctive, but until then, keep on using a professional coach. I truly believe that, YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!
G-rat needs half a dozen more rounds with this guy - needs to incorporate all of those things Brian is telling him in his game. I want to see a tough fight against Tig in the sunday matches. No more loose play!
Check out Be Better Golf. Some great content because of the quality teachers he brings on, but he's just paralyzed by the constant streams of tips and information he gets from new teachers/pros in every video. It's kind of ridiculous lol
I love someone that has good on-site on breaking the game down and making it simple. Which is my problem bud time. I like his simplified approach to the game!
I wouldn't mind a video series where you just play three holes or so and you talked through the process like you're giving the viewer a complete breakdown of your mental process. I think that would be really interesting.but also please don't stop the goofy videos either! :-)
I think the mp20 4iron is 24° and the epic flash 3 wood is around 15° I'd go 7 wood or 3H at around 20 degrees. 7woods are super popular on tour now a days
G-ROCK watch a lot of your content (when I can) and this video was extremely captivating. Love the strategic play and methodology you require for each shot.
I have that issue of not being able to bring my range session to the course from time to time. Sometimes when I play, I like to think I'm hitting on the range. Helps me relax a bit instead of thinking to much about the shot.
Outstanding video! Scrambles and challenges have their place...golf is supposed to be fun after all. But this kind of content is the real deal toward getting better. High-quality, informative instruction. Good stuff!
one of my favorite videos you've done. so much knowledge being given to you, hope you use it to advance your game. would love to see more content like this, but also like the fun videos.
I really liked the detail. Garrett often seems to not be fully focussed. Maybe that phrase 'I am a feel player' lets him think he can get away with it. It is possible to internalize the knowledge so feel still happens. Love the lesson videos.
Garrett swing a club with only your left hand/arm. Build dominants with it. Its is the only difference in your and Tigs consistency. The left arm keeps you on plane and on the slot. When it gets out from your body on the downswing you pull hook it.
Good to see you taking this lesson......but you gotta USE it all the time going forward. Don't get mentally lazy or get too distracted by the antics of some of the other guys on the channel.
This brings about the age old debate of I just want to have fun and play with my friends vs it's time to take golf to the next level. Straddling the two takes something away from both. Tough spot to be in. However, you react and adapt quite well to serious coaching. It appears as though you do not have much success self-diagnosing and making small adjustments in realtime. Not trying to be critical, but it helps sometimes to have an outsiders perspective on bigger-picture. Just like what he said about reading the green early. I should go pro in youtube commentary with that neat/tidy ending (pats myself on the back).
I really need to stop going for it. Been playing a lot of recovery shots lately because I always try to cut corners or just power through in two. But I will say, my recovery game has improved DRAMATICALLY. A stinger fade has actually become one of my most comfortable shots hahaha 😅
My dude! You need to get yourself some proper GOLF SHOES! It makes a huge difference in your ability to stay balanced and trust your turn through the swing. Losing your stability even once is enough to make you question the next swing. Love the content!! 👊🏻
Like this kind of video. Kudos!! Ever thought of having a yearround competition against each other using each person's handicap? Would be great to see games mid-week (Garrett vs. Stephen, Micah vs. Matt, etc.), with Sunday matches continuing. Then a final championship match from the top 2 golfers.
Yes Garret! Great video....ive been critical of some of your choices...I dont mean to be a dick those times. I just think you got serious potential to be a really amazing golfer.
