Quick question: I own two 55" and one 39" track (both Makita). In your opinion, what's an ideal track size smaller than 39"? Thanks in advance.

I have the 800mm which is 32" which I find very helpful, but if I had a 39" I wouldn't buy the 800mm. 800mm is FT shorter rail. On the other side, I would think about the 2700 which is what I use to rip plywood. I have a TSO rail spline, but I prefer full length over joining multiple rails.

Don't judge me...why the five cuts for square? I recently invested in the TSO 30" kit. I'm a weekend woodworker and quality tools -- like TSO -- are my only vice. Thanks for the video.

It is a good way to test for square by measuring it. If it is parallel then you are square as both sides were cut with the same set up. This method will amplify or double any out of square issue.

Michael, the fixer videos are all negative subscribers and have a low view count. They are costly to produce and slow down the actual work 10 fold. Would you happen to have any suggestions on how they can be paid for? Companies like TSO support the SmartWoodshop so we can make the other videos. If I put the videos behind a paywall would you be willing to pay to watch vs ads? I want to improve the SmartWoodshop channel so your thoughts would help.
