I like how personal modifications are easily built into the system. Taking a long look at your tools and needs, it should fairly straightforward to build.

Great build out David! I like your step ladder solution. They always seem to be the odd man out in organizing any shop or trailer.

Great trailer. It's very much like Ron's shop trailer.

Very nice trailer David! I am also a fan of those RIDGID tool crates, as over time I have incorporated 8 for additional storage/quick carry. I also really like your level storage. Wish you well in your work!

No need to tell you because you already know but David....Great trailer! I really appreciate the variation on Ron's plans for your workflow and arrangement. Question: other than the RV battery that charges when connected and towing, do you have any other power on the trailer (i.e. cord to plug into shore power....etc)? Is the RV battery you have adequate to charge your cordless batteries? Thanks for the video of your trailer and thanks to Ron for this series. I am a huge trailer and shop tour enthusiast and it is such a great series to see al the variations on the SMART theme and all the really inventive ideas. Thanks David and Thanks Ron!!

Hi SDS, No, at this point we don't have a shore power setup. When we go into the house to trim, the compressor and battery chargers go in with us. So, for us, it hasn't been a need as of yet. It may be something I change down the road though. Thank you for your comment, and beautiful job on your trailer. I really like your video with your setup.

@@davidmolinari6569 Thanks for the compliment! I am really happy I have set up for shore power for lights and batteries and the compressor but I am finding that I am using the compressor less and less now I have moved to mostly battery nailers 23ga-18ga-16ga-and a framer. My need for air has greatly changed. Next trailer I will shrink the compressor but keep one permanently on board for the "just in case" situations (and for cleaning tools). Again....very cool setup. I have watched this more than a few times now!

great build. I wouldn't worry about the quality of work from a craftsman who shows up with his set up ready to work vice a van or pickup with everything just thrown in.

That is a FACT. I built customs homes for decades plus major remodels. We didn't advertise as our clients invited their friends over to see our trucks, vans, and trailers. We were told often and repeatedly that once they saw our set up they knew we did good work and wanted us to work on their homes. Before retiring, my wife and I built more than 200 custom homes and too many remodels to count. I do give a lot of credit to our crews and lead carpenters, but each had a company provided truck and trailer with instruction from me that keeping the trailer, truck and job clean was priority #1. If you are a messy master craftsman, your work will be scrutinized and doubted. A middle of the road craftsman that is organized and neat gets more work is more successful.

@@TheSmartWoodshop Hi Ron, your point is exactly right. I've had numerous comments from new builders I've picked up that took one look at my trailer and made comments like "after seeing your trailer I knew you were the guys we need." I think that translates to, if people see how much you care about your tools, that tells them you also care about the work you do with your tools. I tell people all the time, it's not hard to do good work, you just have to care about the work you do. Thanks again Ron, it's been so nice to see so many versions of your setup!!

Mr. David. Very nice walk through. I appreciate it. Got one question for you. How did you do the light set up very interested if you can go through details for that. Keep it up woodshop brother. 🔨🪚

Hi JB. Thank you for your comment and question. The lights are just LED lights from Home Depot. They come with a linkable pig tail that you can use to connect them down a line of lights. they also come with a module for remote operation. the module has wires on one end to easily connect to the battery. Then all it takes is one wire ran from the battery to the RV plug to charge from the truck. Thank you again
