just started this game last week. instantly started with Yuel and loved her rush down, then saw her stance change and instantly loved the variety this character seemed to have.
I played Yuel in the 1st GBVS and I pretty much learn all about her by watching I-Yo (japanese player) play her. Once you get used to using her stance cancel and the way she moves she is so fun to play trust me.
Yo the practicality of this is Godlike. I love guides that give specifics like do this and do that. Not just the general objective of the character. I have made it to the borderline of S rank and basically not even used stance. Time to breakthrough!
Holy hell I really needed this. Yuel is one of my favorite characters from the gacha but I just got into fighting games with this one and I have no idea what Im doing. The only thing I wish more guides did was explain how the numbers in things like 66L and 2M are the positions of the joystick or d pad and which way you press them. Thanks for this guide Im definitely gonna put a lot of this into practice soon.
Good to know. Ill Try to put a legend in the guide so people can know number pad notation. So just to tell you real quick if you look at a number pad you can see it looks like: 7 8 9 4 5 6 1 2 3 or on a controller or stick: up-back up up-forward back nothing forward down-back down down-forward Looks a little confusing. 66L is just running/dash L. 2M is crouching M. In this game there aren't too many moves to crouching L still works in the 1 and 3 position of a controller.
Ahhhh okay that makes a lot more sense now. Cause when I was first looking up basic combos everyone was mentioning 66L and having no previous fighting game experience that really confused me. Thanks!
It really is easy now that I know more of the basics but it's really confusing to follow along when you have no prior fighting game experience and you just hear and see things like 66L or 2M. Thanks for the input though hopefully I'll be able to get further in rank now.
Biggest problem now in S+ is that people after the qcb hop just neutral jump. If I dont cancel the hopback in stance, they hit me on their way down guaranteed. If I cancel the hopback, they just get down from their jump and wait. If I cancel into 5H to get back frames advantage on block, once they get down from their jump they EX DP and shut down the offense. Maintaining pressure with the hopback has become kinda difficult, so I'm more and more resorting to other options
Really good info. to know, and yeah approaches get much harder at high rank. Yuel's movements are kind of redactable and somewhat predictable so it gets pretty rough. It might be a design choice just because she can steal turns pretty freely. Idk how helpful this might be but better players than myself often use 66M because it has some pretty good range and does a KD allowing you to start your pressure on wake up. You prob already know that since you are in S+ but just wanted to mention.
Perfect. The guide is made for people exactly like you. I actually made this one because one of my close friends is the same way. New and just liked how she looked but is struggling with her.
I'll have to think about it. I mean at least think about how to do it efficiently. I don't think it would work to do it as a long form guide like these bit I'll try to cook up something.
I bought (and I'm already regretting it...) the deluxe version but I only play offline without a subscription. But really I can't unlock the stages without an online subscription??? Seriously??!? I hope someone can tell me something....
I'm not sure if I understand. If you are on console, you might need a console subscription to play online but if you got it on pc that game should be ok to play. Maybe check if the servers is down. Also check if you downloaded the right version of the game. The free version is separate than the payed version so there is a completely separate thing to download.
