The "BEST" Harley EVO Exhaust! 

Thunderheader exhausts have been around for a long time. I remember when Ron Simms at Bay Area Custom Cycle ran them on his shop projects. That was back in the 1980s. They work well and sound great. Thanks, Yeti!

Love seeing how to fabrication and install videos on harleys in a shop that doesn't have every machining tool in the world. Making it work with what you have and putting out quality work is badass. Keep em coming.

I have a Thunderheader on my 1999 Fatboy. It has the heat shield and looks and sounds amazing love it. 80 inch evo 107 hp 102 tq. Heavy bike but fast.

Fun video to watch. Landed here through my search for a 2 into 1 exhaust for my 84 FXST, Evo with kicker. Need something that will clear the kicker. I was hoping to see a link to the exhaust in the description. Looks like your hardware store has a nice selection of bolts, or maybe you got lucky. Seems the HDepot near me never has anything I need. Monsterbolts on A-zon always comes through and priced nice. That exhaust sounds great. A lot better than the drag pipes on my FXST. Also have a 82 Shovel FXRS with what looks like old cycle shack pipes. Need some updating. Thanks for posting.

I never loved the thunderheader look and instead always went with Vance and Hines 2 into 1. My current 96 Fatboy already had a thunderheader when I bought it. Man it's loud! It hauls ass too. ❤

Been a thunderheader fan & user for 20 years . I strongly recommend fabing up a ex bracket FXRs are hard on thunderheader my crew all ride FXRs & we've weld up a bunch of them before we made new ex brackets !

Very cool. I always liked the look and sound of thunder header exhaust. I have heard people complain about a flat spot in Dyno curves with the exhaust. Is that noticeable, real or BS?

I tired using zip ties for the shields and they go on super tight but seem to fall off every time the pipes get hot. Something is not adding up.

Thunderheaders are great for looks, performance and sound and shit for exhaust leaks... they need a relief somewhere in there... especially on a rubber mount motor. It took forever to seal on my shovel... and I'm pretty sure it's leaking again... 😅🤣😂

Shotgun drag pipes are the best sounding exhaust for HammerHead engines. (You call them EVOs, but they are really Hammerheads) Add points ignition and a good carburetor and let the music flow.

My 92 FXLR ran best with a Thunderheader.

The sound of a 2into1 is an opinion. To me, they make the sound of a VW or a tuned up Japanese bike. Besides it also makes them more Japanese.

Dude thunder Header suck.. old man dinosaur pipe. maybe.. maybe best bang for the buck. But rust like cheap crap. And far better pipes performance wise on market. Hpi/stealth/trashin/fab28 They just cost twice as much
