I used Cerakote on two vehicles a bout a month ago and they turned out like new. The sanding pads they provide were very easy to use and helped get into and around difficult curves on the lenses of my daughter's Honda as well and my Silverado.
An easy restoration fix, I would have liked to see a more challenging example, Heavy oxidation and old cracking flacking clearcoat like 2kmax, This kit is good for light oxidation and Fogging!! Anyway you did a good job the difference is clear to see!!! 🤔🇬🇧👍
No problem 👍 It's been a year since doing this and I'm going to post a 1 year update in the next few weeks when we get some decent weather. (They still look great)
Yes it's holding up well, an update video is on my radar I just haven't had much time to make any videos lately. It's been a year and a half and they're not as clear as when I first done them but they still look good. There is a slight haziness that I think would clear up if I just reapplied the sealer to them. In all fairness to the product, the car sits in direct sunlight all it's life and I have only washed it once since this video 🙈
You mentioned that the clear coat works best. If it's a thick coat. I wonder is there any harm in doing a second coating of clear coat 4 to 6 hours after the first one. What do you think?

"Period!"? I agree that the Sylvania kit is good ( I don't agree that it's expensive, it's under $20 ), but how do you know it's "the best. Period."? Project Farm does a good job of comparisons, and they are usually very objective. But even that channel usually gives its conclusions in less absolute terms.
@@robertallen5531 I did a second coat about 24 hrs later on the passenger headlight because it rained immediately after I applied the first coat and caused water spots. You should be fine with a second coat on there
Depends on the headlight and how well the uv coating is applied mine has been over a year and is still really clear but I can tell it's starting to dull just a little. I'm going to reapply the uv coating and see if it'll last a while longer.
