I installed a LIDLOX Helmet lock on my 2019 Road Glide. Make sure you browse the channel and subscribe! As always, thanks for watching! Follow me on Instagram @dooworkmotorsports! Link to LIDLOX Helmet Lock: lidlox.com/products/2001-b
Thank you for an excellent video! Seeing your video’s 2 years old I apologize for being I’m a bit late to the table. Should be delivered tomorrow for my new Low Rider ST. Thanks again and ride safe!
I had the same thought... but what good would a helmet without a D-RIng strap be? Of course, that doesn't mean thieves won't destroy the thing they're stealing-but I bet most won't. Thoughts?
Agreed. In my country some desperate scumbag will try so hard to cut the strap off that will throw my bike to floor. That's my main concern. So it's better to show how the helmet it's secured rather than having a hidden mecanism
Hey man, love your channel. Got so many tips, how to's and much more. Thank you. Quick question can't find the video that you show your personalized stickers and who made them? Thank you
I have these same bars on my bike and I got the extended stem mirrors from Harley to fix the issue of not being able to see what's coming up behind me. They are pretty reasonable in price.
This, nor any helmet lock, is going to stop a determined crackhead. This is a short term thing to do when running to the store, or other quick errands.
I dug the video, only a few things I didn't like about it. First, you spent more than half of the video reviewing the helmet and it began to irritate me as I came for a review of the helmet lock. Second, soon after you locked the vid, it sounded like you were about to wrap it up, and I was getting agitated because I wanted to see how you would unlock the helmet, which you then later did, so it threw me off. Other than that, this lock is a good recommendation. Thanks for posting. Ride safe.
Yes you can, that what that t shaped metal piece was with the round hole in the bottom, slide the bottom of the tee through two helmet D rings, then into the lock, push in the button
By far the best helmet lock except for the having to use a perch mount spot. I have a cell phone perch on the left and helmet lock on the right and now I don't have a spot for the perch mount for drink holder.
Thx for sharing this. The options for locking the lid is slim. My 22 MT09SP has no mechanism for lids so here I am, searching, researching and thinking.... WHY THE P H U C DID YAMAHA REMOVE THIS!
One flaw in the design only thing needed to get the helmet is a pair of pliers or a screw driver not much metal left on the bottom of the lock and in a dark parking lot or between cars at the store just grab the lock and pry down less then 30 seconds you lid is gone and your lock destroyed just a pice of advice of your helmet is not on your bike it can’t be stolen I like the concept but I never leave mine on the bike.
honestly with a strong flat head u prolly can just break that little tab thats locking it and itll slide right out. im from cali and they do a lot tricky things out here
Question have the same bike just put on the same handle bars did you have to extend the clutch cable mine is tight and I’m running the same seat do you feel like your pushing on the bars we are about the same height I’m 5/9 And I put the same rake you put yours and what a bitch pulling the wires ha ha
That metal piece shaped like a T is used to slide through the D rings of two helmets, put the end with the hole into the helmet lock, push in the button
It was my dirt bike number back in the day, I've been seeing a lot of performance bagger guys put their number on their bikes and I thought it looked cool..
I personally can’t stand full face helmets as they suck in hot 🥵 weather , they block my side vision , block my hearing , block the wind 💨 I can’t feel on the side of my cheek as other vehicles approach on the side of me on the highway. My theory is avoiding accidents to begin with rather than having equipment that blocks my senses .
Too much motion in the camera. I had to fast forward to the installation but then the motion in your camera made me nauseated & I had to shut it down before it was finished.
