I love these trousers too. Regarding the belt - I rubbed some seam sealant into the belt fabric where it folds through the clip, gives it a bit more grip
@@Mabel-j2d I've never heard of them. I'm not playing on buying any more hiking gear at the moment. I've a backlog of gear reviews to make, some tents, backpacks and other stuff.
I love mine. However, be very careful to use slow spin in the washing machine. I did mine on the sports setting at 800rpm and it ruined them. 😢They’re heavy duty and the rubber washing machine seal just attacked the linings at 800rpm. I have ordered a new pair of Ibex PRO and will henceforth wash them only in a mesh washing machine bag at 400rpm max! 😱
@@markrichter2053 wow. I've washed mine on spin settings higher than that without any issues so far... Maybe you had a Gremlin in the machine that ate them.
Great review. Funny enough I love my Fjalkraven but the one thing I don’t like is the belt loops. Unlike your built in one the loops are small and I have to take the buckle off the belt, thread it through and then reattach the buckle 😏
Great review. I use softshell myself, but a little cheaper ones. Trespass or regatta . Find them comfortable relatively good at weather resistance. But at £60 you could get a secondhand pair of paramo cascada from paramos own replacement scheme. They repair secondhand gear and sell it on. I have bought a jacket for walking and cycling, like new.
I have 3 pairs - on average I pay about £70 for them. One pair I somehow got candle wax on and can't seem to get off, other than that I love them. Good review. Totally agree about the belt. atb Al
Ha ha. I showed a glimpse at the beginning! It's more about how they perform / wear really. With most trousers you're always best off seeing them and trying them for fit. I just wanted to get across how robust and hard wearing these are.
