Really good choices, only differences i can comment on is that i got LR >>>>>> Be, SRS >> Veteran > TA13OO, and CMIYGL > SWNT. everything else i pretty much agree with, cool to see some 80s albums i don’t know as well.
The Infamous would be my pick for 1995, as it’s influence on east coast on hardcore hip-hop is nearly unrivalled. Furthermore, Shook Ones, Pt II is definitively one of the greatest hip-hop tracks. Respect to your honourable mentions too 👍
Recomendations: - Entroducing by DJ Shadow (1996), same level than Donuts by Dilla - Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox (2001), I prefer it over Labor Days and I love that album, seriously recomendable - A Piece of Strange by Cunninlynguists (2005), third best HH album imo And.... *Death Grips*

I agree, I have both of those vinyls but I prefer Bazooka Tooth, and I definitely would have to take the Blueprint in that scenario. Honestly for my personal taste I would’ve put The Cold Vein, but regardless of if you put that over The Blueprint, it’s DEFINITELY above labor days. Again no disrespect to Aesop but Cold Vein is arguably the greatest contribution Def Jux made to Hip Hop
I love DOOM and god rest his soul, but it’s not aoty worthy. Not a bad album by no means, but it just aint up to par with the new and innovative stuff that has been introduced such as Tylers album
Only 3 changes I would’ve made. ‘96 should’ve went to all eyez on me. ‘98 to it’s dark and hell is hot and lastly, ‘99 should’ve been blackout! by meth and red. Overall very valid and fair list.
Where's Wayne? 2009 Should've been Tha Carter lll, even kids were singing lollipop in Africa and A milli. Lil Wayne is underrated google how much albums he puts out a year. You'll see what I'm talking about..

Just title the video conscious rap because Monster is probably the best rap project of 2014, jeffery easily the best of 2016 and Rodeo should be an honourable mention for 2015
@@beastieboysenjoyer3826 Only kinda eh song on Rodeo is Flying high. Rodeo has better and more diverse production than Rodeo despite being older, is more sonically diverse, has better rapping on it, has higher highs. Im a Travis fan but Astroworld isnt close to Rodeo in terms of quality
@@beastieboysenjoyer3826 Jeffery is easily the best hh project of 2016. Has some of the best vocal performances in hip-hop, an insanely consistent tracklist, creative concept of each song sonically sounding like Thugs idols, the tape has multiple sounds, great features etc. Its a masterpiece, defo wipes tlop which was unfinished anyway
