Very nice review guys. Love the dark chocolate. Didn’t know u could only get that panel with them. Toggle is a great idea. Enjoy sleeping in them as that’s what happens to me if I get too comfortable! Well done on The review.
Thank you so much for watching Tony! My wife usually uses movie night as an excuse to get a couple hours of sleep... we'll see what she thinks! We're super happy with the chairs and the new control panel is certainly awesome! 😀
Congrats on the new seats guys. I am 100% with you on the Dark chocolate, you'll see how much I like the color too very soon ;P. Great informative video as usual, keep it up!
Thanks for the review! I’m a taller guy 6’3” and have been debating between the tall version and the regular. How tall are you if you don’t mind my asking? How do you think they fit for large framed guys?
Hi and thanks for watching! I'm 6' 2", and would definitely recommend getting the Oslo XL size. The chairs fit me ok but I do think it would be better with the XL.
Viewers be aware!! Valencia charges $300 per seat when you return. I had to return 3 Oslo XL, because they were just so uncomfortable, way to stiff on the lumbar area.
Thanks for your videos. I have been shopping for home theater chairs, and I keep coming back to these Valencia Oslo chairs. I have had recline chairs from Ashley's and I hate that I ever bought anything from them. All junk. Can you give me your honest opinion on the comfort level of these chairs and the quality. Are the chairs 100% leather all around, or are the sides and back imitation leather? These chairs are pretty expensive and I don't want to drop a lot of money on these chairs, only to find out that they don't hold up very well. Thanks for your time.
Thanks for watching! The chairs are very comfortable and the build quality is excellent. The chairs are 100% leather in the seating areas and armrest. These chairs do seem a little expensive, and I think the reason for that is all of the features you're getting, like lumbar support, the motorized headrest, electric recline, etc. - these are all of the things that add value to a chair. Unfortunately, we haven't had the opportunity to review theater seating from other brands, so we can't comment on how they compare, but these are very high quality chairs from our experience. Hope this helps!
I'll give you my honest opinion. These are hard as fook. If you like firm that won't soften up get these. I own these I basically gave them away too uncomfortable after 1 hour.
Great review. These chairs normally get good reviews and almost everyone comments on the effect of the bright LED's on the screen. Not sure why they just don't add a dimmer or change the position of the LED's. Also, the only other con is the position of the USB port. Those of us with larger frames or those that are clumsy or have hyper children will soon find those ports non-functional. They definitely should find another place to put those (the elbow adapter was a good call though)
Thanks for watching! We do wish the USB ports were in a better location but the elbow adapters are a pretty decent solution. We're really happy with how they've held up in our theater & we can't recommend them enough. Fortunately the LEDs have an on/off switch so you can just leave them off, but we never turn them on because we've installed our own aftermarket LEDs that switch on or off depending on whether or not a movie is playing.
I think it comes down to personal preference, both are great chairs but obviously have different styling, so I would recommend going with the ones that look best to you. Thanks for watching!
Like others have previously asked, Valencia states that the biggest difference between Tuscany and Oslo was design. Is that true after these years or is there also a comfort difference?
Thanks for watching! Yeah these are the standard size chairs, and my son is 5' 11" - after living with these for the last 5 months, I would say if you're anything over 6' then you might want to consider the XL chairs. These are very comfortable for me, but I do find myself having to slide down in them to use the headrest all the way. Other than that, these are super comfortable and we're very happy with them. Hope this helps! :)
