You totally missed the mk4 R32, 1st hot hatch that you could get DSG, 4wd individual braking corners and a Quattro system - it’s more famous than any of the cars in your video and a Cult classic
The Clio II RS stands out, one big missed opportunity would have to be the 400 hp Volvo C30 Polestar concept. Speaking of the latter would be great seeing another video delving into the subject of Hot Hatch projects that for whatever reason did not make it to production.
My dad had a red clio trophy, the best bit was he didn’t know what he was buying and said to the guy he wanted it for the colour 😂 this was way before he or I really knew what it was and I was unfortunately too young to remember much about the driving experience, would love to relive those days with the knowledge I have now. *edit, all I do know is that he could take ring roads at about 60, sometimes a little more 😂
A very god overview of 00’s hot hatches, but how about some video clips (rather than photos) of the cars in motion, preferably with engine sound included! Cheers.
If told to have one,the Alfa Romeo 147GTA is it. Clios are cool, Vicki Butler Henderson loved them but they are a bit too French. Civic Type-R in it's second generation is a close second for me. By the way,if someone doesn't like that Alfa, he's not a petrolhead.
@@borisdoornebos3565 But came out in the '90s, and therefore is one for that decade. Speaking of which, here is that video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IJ5za0Nq3bo.html
I've decided to unsubscribe, it's becoming too much mainstream, soon topgear nonsense might show up as well. I will simply put the best historic racing in a playlist and be done with you for all else.
