would love to see updated videos for each of the resorts. A lot of the old videos were right after the closures and would like to see options now that things are back open
I stick by The Pop Century Resort as "Your Home Away From Home!" because of The Skyliner, the Castmembers and the location of the room that we stayed in. We were in the Sixties building and had a BEAUTIFUL view of Hourglass Lake. We were a short walk from an elevator, and then the main hall. One day, I would like to stay in The Contemporary or The Polynesian, but for now, it's The Pop Century for us!
Staying at the Pop Century with my Wife in June. largely due to being able to take the skyline to Epcot/Boardwalk. Plus then the bus to Disney Springs/Magic Kingdom so plenty of options to experience disney in different ways.
We've always said if we stay at Fort Wilderness, that will be the vacation. With that much to do, I can't see any reason to go to the parks. It looks amazing!
We just recently tried the cars suite, at The art of animation hotel. We usually stay wilderness lodge at boulder ridge. We loved the suites and the gondolas. For a few of our trips, we were able to see the fireworks from the regular rooms around Wilderness lodge.
Great video! For me, my Walt Disney World resort is just as important as the theme parks. Are you planning on doing a review of the new Pixar Place hotel in Disneyland once it's completely finished? Would love to see that!
Hi DFB Guide! I was rewatching this video and the part where AJ says that we can request rooms and buildings and how is the best way to do it got me thinking. I’m planning my first trip as a father and I’m really wanting a room at All star movies at the Toy Story area. What would be the best way to specifically ask for a room there? Thank you so much for all tha work you do guys!
12:16 If you’re staying in the Aruba section of CBR, you’d probably be better off walking over to the Riviera and using that for food and transportation to and from the parks.
As a DVC member you have your "home resort" but as we go to DW at least twice a year, it is nice to check out some other resorts, some which we can use our DVC points on!
How do you like the DVC? I was thinking of joining, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it if i only get 1-2 weeks out of it. What are some perks that make worth your while?
When you arrive at Disney World, you arrive with a wallet, full of money, and if Disney World management has anything to say about it, when you leave to go home, you’ll be broke… and in debt to Disney World for the next five generations!
Omg yessss!!! Last time I was there I thought I was sharing the cabin with someone who wore their barn boots to WDW. But every monorail cabin I was in smelled the same…I think they need a deep clean. 😬
You mentioned Good Neighbor hotels. While staying at these do they offer the benefits that Disney property hotels do like discount on park tickets and transportation? Specifically Hilton brands.
It will depend on the hotel whether they offer transportation or not. Typically they do not offer any kind of package deals that include discounted tickets, however the rooms are often cheaper than Disney World hotels so you may still come out ahead by staying there
Universal has the license rights for Avengers and X-men for the eastern US. There is a slightly Avenger themed hotel in Paris though. The Disney Paris Hotel NY has a Black Panther statue and artwork.
Are all the grand Floridan rooms updated to the new theme? I know the room renovations are complete but the website still has pictures of the old theme on rooms that aren't studios.
I stayed 2 nights midweek at Pop Century a month ago. When I paid for my room the Cast Member applied a discount and upgraded my room to preferred. I specified I wished to be near the Skyliner - I intended to rope drop each day. Instead I was clear over on the other side, near the Food Court.
Haha wow clear over to the food court! Its like a 5 minute walk to skyliner. I have stayed at pop century the last two years and the skyliner is great. But its not a long walk to the skyliner.
Animal kingdom hotels are overrated. Don’t stay there, just visit or eat a restaurant there. It’s way to far and way to expensive for what you get. It is better to stay closer to the parks. Wilderness lodge is way better.🦒🐘😊
I really really really really really really really hope Disney upgrade those pool chairs in ALL of value resorts!!! I mean I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE value resorts, but those worn-out ragged pool chairs are so depressing and just brings down entire "value"of the resort, actually giving the value resorts that "motel" feel. I'm not even expecting those cushy pool chairs, the ones at Disney cruise line will do the trick, they are firm and durable. Disney PLEASE!!!
My husband and I want to take our children, their spouses, and our 3 grandchildren. We are thinking 2026, but can't figure out what is best to do as we want to stay on property but really can't figure out where to stay and the best way to accomodate 8 adults and 3 children under 5. With the children we would like to be able to go back and forth easily for naps or some needed pool time.
